I had the most incredible experience at Panghat in Surat while shopping for my bridal lehenga. From the moment I walked in, both I and my family were treated with such warmth and genuine hospitality—it immediately set the tone for what turned out to be a seamless and memorable experience.
What truly stood out was how well the team understood my vision. Instead of overwhelming me with endless options, they thoughtfully curated a selection of lehengas that aligned perfectly with what I was looking for. It made the entire process feel intentional, efficient, and so much more enjoyable.
A special thank you to Rutuja, who was absolutely amazing throughout. She really took the time to understand my style and brought out a lehenga that I simply could not get out of my head—it felt like she just got me. There was never any pressure or aggressive sales tactics; in fact, she encouraged me to explore other stores, which made me trust her even more.
The craftsmanship at Panghat is exceptional—every piece reflects beautiful, intricate handwork with a clean, refined finish. My entire family was so impressed with the quality and uniqueness of their designs.
What meant the most to me was the continued support even after my lehenga was made. Since I live in the U.S. and had limited time in Surat, Rutuja stayed in touch, arranged a FaceTime call, and made sure all measurements and final details were perfect. That level of care gave me so much peace of mind.

I had a really lovely experience with Panghat for my wedding dress. The team was extremely calm, patient, and attentive throughout. They listened to every little request carefully and made sure nothing was missed.
They stayed in touch with me at every step, which gave me a lot of confidence and peace of mind. Rutuja handled my outfit and honestly, it was such a smooth and reassuring experience with her. The color tone came out exactly the way I wanted. Even when I didn’t like the initial swatch, they corrected it immediately without any fuss.

Embroidery and Jardoshi work are extraordinary and if you are looking for authentic work do visit the store atleast once before making your final choices ! We were also pleased with the final fitting work completed by the tailoring department!

I showed them what I really wanted but still they were not showing me some related outfits and were just showing whatever they wanted to show, asked them several times but still they had that same attitude and when I was moving out they were like wait we have some outfits that you might like and then they showed me outfit similar to what I showed them. And their staff are so bad they will show you outfits only if they are in a mood or else will show few and will say done we just have this to show. Such a poor service and attitude towards customers.

We walked into Panghat in a bridal emergency after an heirloom lehenga failed us last minute. We gone to all the shops in the city from mid to premium segment with nothing convincing. Initially sceptical at Panghat since they have no lehengas on display and everything is shown to you in a closed room one by one, which felt odd initially. But it turns out this is such a CLEVER way of fine-tuning in finding what the customer exactly want — the gem he always wanted!!! Their cuts and fits are too good. Really smart, and surprisingly refreshing brand siting in a rare sweet spot between all other local brands. They clearly understand that good business starts with good customer interaction, treatment and open dialogue. The team is very professional, well done. Wishing you the best success

Could not have had a worse experience . Travelled from out of town to get an outfit here, and purchased a very expensive one too. They dont care about you once the payment is done, they keep you hanging, dont pick up call or reply to messages. Meena Ji assisted us, and she didnt pick up any calls or messages once the payment was done, would not recommend her to anyone. The fitting in itself was horrible and I got the outfit 1 month after the date to collect it. I would not recommend this place to anyone. If you want to regret ur choice then do shopping here. They dont have any professionalism or value for the money you paid. This is an honest review

Purchased my bridal outfit from Panghat this week and I just cannot thank them enough for their service. Rutuja was excellent and provided me with expertise and immediately brought out pieces that I fell in love with, they don’t waste your time at all. The tailoring team did a fabulous job and altered my dress and customised my blouse for me within days. I went back for my 1st fitting and left with the dress because it had been tailored perfectly. I purchased an expensive palazzo outfit for my brother-in-law’s wedding. While the outfit was beautiful, the fitting was terrible. I was asked to send it back to India with new measurements, only to receive it unchanged and with no margins left to fix it in the U.S. The outfit is now unwearable.
Customer service has been completely unhelpful, despite this being a time-sensitive, premium purchase. After buying multiple outfits from this store, this experience is extremely disappointing.
When you charge premium prices, premium service is expected. Leaving a customer scrambling last minute to spend more money on another outfit is UNACCEPTABLE. I would not recommend purchasing from here.

Such a waste of time buying outfits from Panghat.
Be careful while buying outfits from them they promise you to deliver outfits on time with perfect fitting but they can’t.
I went for trial 3 times for my outfit they were not able to do fitting until the last minute of my event.
They keep giving you excuses like our main tailor is not here.
If you have such a big showroom why can’t you have enough tailors who can do good alterations.

You expect care at this level.
You don’t expect repeated mistakes.
• I went for my first fitting.
• The fitting was bad. I understood.
• They asked me to come again after seven days.
• They confirmed in the morning that everything was fixed.
I went back.
Nothing was changed.
The outfits were exactly the same.
They said sorry.
They promised to fix it for the third time.
I went again.
One sleeve was tight.
The other sleeve was loose.
The difference was about one inch.
They admitted it was another mistake.
A mistake once is understandable.
Twice is disappointing.
Three times is carelessness.
After spending this much, all I got was “sorry.”
No solution.
No real effort.
No customer satisfaction.
Would you trust your bridal outfit to a store like this?

Deepika helped us and she was absolutely incredible. She understood exactly what style I was looking for—even when I didn’t know how to explain it myself. She suggested new styles, alternative blouse options, and different ways to elevate the whole look. Her eye for fashion is unmatched, and she truly brought my vision to life without me having to explain it. Her warm personality, constant smile, and fun jokes made the whole experience unforgettable. Deepika is honestly the best!
I also loved the entire concept of how they display their clothes. The outfits are displayed out one after another in such a clean, organized flow, and it felt like we were walking through a curated runway. As Deepika spoke, Darshan would bring out the outfits seamlessly, and everything came together so perfectly.
A big shoutout to Leela as well—she was incredibly sweet and helped me so much in the fitting room. Her patience and kindness made the try-on process so comfortable.

We visited Panghat for the second time looking for a wedding outfit for my niece and once again the service was outstanding. Meena and her team looked after us and was so accommodating and engaging, she put my niece at ease and her knowledge was second to none. She did not promise anything she couldn’t do, she was open and fair. Highly recommended as they also have amazing outfits for grooms and brides.

Shyam Ji, Sumit and Nikki were super helpful and very knowledgeable.
HK Ji did a fantastic job with the fittings and made the whole experience very smooth and easy.

You might come across a piece you like here, but it’s not worth the attitude that they have. They will show 3 outfits and would expect you to buy one out of it and then move forward. The experience was so bad, that even if we liked any outfit we did not go ahead because their way of showing outfits seemed so off that we were sure their after sales experience is going to be super rude

I entered in the shop with hopes and they treated me best because they want to sell their product and when their is the turn of their service they give up
I wanted the fresh piece because they ruined mine and they break our trust by giving the same piece with more defects and after so many mistakes they make they use to say that they give us the refund just because we our not trusting them and not giving time to them
I bought this product at the starting week of November and after so many excuses of them Today 22nd of December they use to say that we gave you the refund of your loss and blaming us for that we are inquiring for our product since 1 and half month

Total scam and frauds. Just a huge fancy showroom with poor behaviour and attitude post the payment. Despite clear instructions and even after mentioning the customization in the alteration form, they did not fulfill the requirements. Moreover they have blocked my number as well after just one call.

We went to several different stores and cities to find the perfect wedding dress for my finance. We eventually went into Panghat where Shubash showed us several dresses. We weren’t sold on the ready made ones and Shubash said he can custom make it to how we want it. We loved the option to custom make the dress exactly how we wanted within our budget. We showed a reference picture and sent it to them explaining this is how we wanted it, and then how we want the blouse, and two dupattas. When the dress came back it was completely different. We understand if it’s a little off but if the bottom design, the blouse, and both dupattas are wrong thats mean they didn’t listen to anything we said and made it to how they wanted. They refuse to acknowledge their mistake and keep saying this is much better than the design you showed us trying to cover up their mistake. Now we have a dress that we didn’t ask for because they do not value their customers just money coming in. Do not get custom made done here.

Total scam!! They have gone and purchased fake reviews to improve their ratings. All the NEGATIVE reviews posted by other customers are totally accurate. Fraudulent business and scam artist! These sales people cannot be trusted.
The tailor there is incompetent and unprofessional! The staff there are rude, arrogant! Once you make payment, they will treat you differently and customer service becomes nonexistent!
In our case, the tailor completely ruined our clothes by making it too small! They expected the us to go to Surat (from Mumbai) and get it fixed (which was going to take 15mins)! Total joke! They have no understanding of customer service! They will ruin your wedding arrangements and will not compensate no matter what. So once they take your money, it's gone forever as they will not refund no matter what! So even if the clothes don't fit they don't care and they will not respond to your calls and messages. They will come up with excuses which I'm sure you will read in the response below by the owner. ALL EXCUSES.
Better to spend money elsewhere as these people will ruin your wedding and give stress and cause issues.
