Too expensive a tailor, not sure of quality of work, as stitching wife's lehenga + blouse was worth 6200/- + Extra express charges if needed in 3 days, 3 time as expensive as the cloth. Don't know if this is a norm!
Update: got this done from New Market in a day, and yes it was much more cost effective
Adding Response to the owner based on her reply - "As you rightly said that you don’t know and aren’t sure, so it cast serious doubt on your business acumen and all your reviews till date."
My business acumen did understand that you asked for much more w.r.t urgency and that a proper customer oriented person would have rather suggested we go in for a better dress material. We went to 4 different tailor and they all suggested the same, we bought a new one when we found something good and it entirely cost me your "stitch only" charges.
I am sure you have a good review and I hope you do well in your business, but I am as entitled to my opinion as you.
"I did not use your services more because I did not like the way the charges were over stated"

Our prices are as per market standard, and we provide free consultation with our fashion designer. In your case, our quote was justified as we need to completely REDO and CUSTOMIZE the basic lehenga and blouse. As you rightly said that you don’t know and aren’t sure, so it cast serious doubt on your business acumen and all your reviews till date.
If you would have availed the service, you would have known that at Alter Bliss, we do not differentiate whether your cloth materials are cheap or expensive because we treat all customer materials with outmost care and focus on value that we are adding to the final product in terms of our style, uniqueness, fitting, customization, and quality & that is the reason why our customers love us.

You are free to get your stitching done from any place which fits your pocket; however, you should know the difference between a BOUTIQUE and a normal tailor.
At ALTERBLISS we are committed towards STRONG CUSTOMER SATISFACTION and accordingly we have set polices and standards which we maintain and under any circumstances we do not compromise with the Quality & Value of the finished product & that is the reason our customers love us.
Regarding express delivery ,we have set policies, & in order to meet the targeted date, we need to alter the ongoing production schedule, divert resources and allocate additional manpower, any person with proper business acumen would understand these basic cost adders very well rather than seeking cost benefit sympathy w.r.t urgency and terming them as over-stated without even experiencing ALTERBLISS’s quality.
While you are entitled to do whatever you may please to do so, however you need to understand that there is a difference between “REVIEW “and “OPINION”.

I got my blouses stitched for my wedding.. I would say go for it.
There are lack of good tailors in Behala area. I searched a lot & based on just dial feedback went here. The standard rate is Rs 1600/- per blouse on an average which I found little overpriced but when I received my blouses I was highly satisfied. I had only one trial and the fitting was perfect when I received everything.

If you are looking for places to make your own designer style blouse, this place is definitely one of those. Designer blouses would cost minimum Rs1000.. depending on your design..my blouse was perfect, just like I wanted it to be.. but my delivery date was rescheduled twice hence the four stars.

Mukta's work is sheer perfection. She stitched a few blouses, four sets of salwar kameez, a gharara, a co-ord set with a cape over a month's time - I have ZERO complaints. She listens to you carefully, collaborates/consults with you honestly about the design (feasibility, complexity) and delivers to the T. As a few reviews may have mentioned that they found the price point slightly high but I think it's worth given the output.

It was a last minute desperate decision to try Alterbliss tailoring for my bridal blouses after Prashant Tailors ruined the initial attire. Went by Google reviews and proximity to my place. Lady delivered on her words and the blouses fit me snug as you can see in the photo. Will give a second review after making more blouses and dresses. Highly recommend their services..prices are high compared to other places but I think the quality is also better e.g zipper is ykk.

After so many months of searching....I got the place (AB)....no words to express of the fitting and quality of work.i have done my bridal saree blouse and lengha blouse from them.The blouses had simple embroidery work..so I told them to enhance the design and details of the blouse..b'coz the blouses are special for me for my special day.
