Best place to go to if you need a suit or shirt tailored on short notice. Got my suit fully finished within a week, including trial fit and final adjustments. What really impressed me was the professional knowledge and experience that they had when they helped be choose the right color and fabric for my suit, it really showed their craftsmanship. 9.5/10 experience

Vedi tailors has stitched suits for my Grandfather, my Father and now me also. Once they even shipped a suit for me when I was working outside India.
Always have had trendy styles. They were the first ones to give waist Buckle/Loops back in 2010 on my suits and the same thing I notice on trendy brands now.

One of the best tailors in the New Delhi's up market Cannaught Place. Pains taking stitching and draping place. Convenient and approachable. Take care of the suitings even a decade after you use . Sardarji is polite soft spoken and a thorough gentleman. I am visiting them for the last almost five decade. Fully satisfied and happy with their service.

I asked them to make a woman's tweed coat. After mutliple trials, the final coat is ill-fitting and bulky. The shop owner refused to acknowledge the problems in the coat and said "it will become okay". When I pointed out that it did not look like a tailored coat worth the Rs. 9,000/- they were charging, the owner's response was, "It's going to cost Rs. 10,000/-". He created such an aggressive environment that I just paid and left. Now the coat will have to be fixed by another tailor before it can be worn. Vedi tailors clearly neither know how to make women's coats nor how to speak to women customers. They are massively overcharging for skills they don't have.

Very poor quality fusing has been used in the shirt collar and cuffs. After the first wash, the collar has developed bubble-like patches.

A big NO. I got a suit stitched from here but the stitching quality is really bad. They charge a lot more than ordinary tailors yet the quality is really bad. I am left with a completely unwearable pant so I can’t even use my suit now.

Vedi Tailors used be good a few years ago but the recent experiences have been so bad that I would never go there again despite being a regular customer for many years. They are over-priced as compared to others but that didn't hurt previously as the fitting of stitched clothes was nice. However, now looks like they don't even know how to take measurements which requires repeated alterations.. Extremely rude too..

Worst tailor ever came across. I ordered to tailor a white tuxedo with black pant for my engagement one and a half month before and this man made me to run for my suit till four days before the function. One more thing they dont give nice clean suit but you have to do dry cleaning on your own. And i had to do dry cleaning three times as the suit was never correctly stitched. He spoiled the very plan for my whole engagement function. Fit is very very bad. I had no other option but to wear the suit. They are there for making jokes with people and nothing else i could find.

*A BIG NO* One of the worst quality of tailoring experienced. Though sitting in the heart of delhi, the standard of tailoring is way below expectation. Within the first 6 months, the stitching opened up & one of my pants was completely torn. Over & above when complained of the same the owner was unapologetic & arrogant.

For a long time I have been meaning to right this review. My father took me to these tailors as he thought these are one of the oldest tailors in Cannaught place area. I was leaving for higher studies to USA. I had the prefect Raymond’s Bird’s eye suit material for 2 pieces and they ruined it. They charged us a premium 25k four years ago which at the time seemed reasonable, however, after I received the final suits, the making the stitching everything was horrible as if an intern was asked to create those suits and experiment with them. For many years, my father and I regretted going to these Vedi tailors. Anyway, through this review I aim to prevent this happening to someone else. “NOT RECOMMENDED”.

Sold me Fabric for 2 piece suit after asking for fabric for a 3 piece more than 2 times. When i came to realise after i went to a different tailor i returned to clear the matter. He clearly denied and said that is not my problem now.

A highly unprofessional & unskilled tailor with thought of old schools. Total time waste. Several times he took my measurements for trouser stiching but he could not even get me right fittings in 3 months. I paid him multiple visits & finally I had to pick my trousers in as it is condition & got the alterations done from outside. My experience with vedi tailors was worst. Totally miserable & ridiculous . If you re really looking for right fit & want to save your time & money both then vedi tailor is not a right choice for you. Owner of vedi tailor is full of arrogance, has no work sense.

The Owner is ruining the equity it acquired in the past. Old school thinking and arrogance of serving some top clients has made this place slip.

Unprofessional work by him. I have given my suits. They spoiled it. What he charge my material was 5 times expensive. He made disaster. Told changes at trial. Still made wrong. Then I send it again for basic changes as basics were wrong. Today I send after 6 months he have just blazer back and said it's matter of 6 months I don't know pants. Who gives blazers without pants I have no idea. I tried suits it's all spoiled. Waste of my time and money. And what he was saying 6 months old matter. Once I pay I can't take it as when I want you got your money at least do your basic job of tailoring. Total fail in Stiching and professional service.
