I had a very disappointing experience at Mahawar Garments. The staff is very attentive and polite while you’re purchasing, but their attitude completely changes when it comes to exchanges.
I was asked to come after 6 PM for an exchange, but I reached at 3 PM and waited for nearly 3.5 hours. The owner was calling customers using a token system, which felt unnecessary and poorly managed. When I asked how much longer it would take, he casually smiled and said “1 hour” again, even though there were hardly 1–2 people ahead.
Despite waiting for hours—and even being ready to purchase additional items—they didn’t allow me to proceed with the exchange. It clearly felt like they prioritize only sales, not customer service after payment is done.
During my wait, I noticed several customers getting frustrated and leaving without buying anything. You could literally see the disappointment on people’s faces.
Overall, this shop seems very money-minded. Once they receive your payment, they don’t value you as a customer anymore. If this is how customers are treated, it will definitely impact their future.

U were informed earlier twice that exchange will be done in the designated time and with a proper invoice issued .
But neither was followed.
Also, during rush and peak hours, few things may take time more than required.
Exchange is a daily procedure and is done calmly, but not right away in the morning.
Anyways,
U are again welcome to renew ur experience in near future.

I did shopping a week before from this shop and get a sherwani and indo-western from this shop for my 7 year old son. Surprisingly, the same sherwani for my son was available on some other shop as well and i just asked the price of it and found that the sherwani was Rs700 cheaper than the sherwani i bought from Mahawar, Chandni Chowk. It's a fixed price shop and they do no bargaining/discount. You can find the same items, same quality from any other shop, you just need to try a bit. I bought a 5 piece suit from another shop for just Rs 1600 which they were selling for Rs 2200. There are 2 Mahawar shops adjacent to each other and both are very costly.

Also, every sherwani that is cream colour is not always same. U can find different products in the market as per ur budget, but every product has its value.
Keeping in mind the stiff competition in a strong market like Chandni chowk, such a difference is not acceptable.

This was honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve had. I would strongly advise against visiting this place. The prices are extremely high and not justified at all. Most of the 5 star reviews seem fake, they actually pressure customers into leaving positive ratings in exchange for cheap vouchers. These vouchers are barely worth ₹100 and can only be used on your next purchase, not even the current one. On top of that, they fail to cater to different budgets and offer very limited variety within specific price ranges. Overall, completely disappointing.

Let me share a honest review again, their clothes are amazing, i purchase kurta pyjama and suit, it was 10/10 now why I deducted one star, is after billing they provided me a gift, but what I didn't like is that it's a kind of force that I need to provide a 5 star review for a gift which is not good, if they improve in this area of no forcing review, then this shop is the best shop for cloth purchasing, simply you purchase, we provide a gift, no review tantrum, then I thought to talk with the shop owner regarding this, but then I thought not a good idea, it's best to write here

The shop is too crowded. The ambience isn’t upto the mark. The shop is making fool of customers by putting up exorbitantly high MRPs on products and then slashing it down to mediocre prices. Also the behaviour of person on the billing kiosk is very unprofessional and bad. Then they are not giving an inch of discount even while buying thousands of rupees worth of products.
My advice go to smaller shops, the variety would be a little less but you’ll still get very good products at very good prices.
