Ashok Tailors

Prior to me travelling to travelling to India I searched and researched different Tailors in the city. I narrowed it down to 4 and visited just one, that was ‘Ashok Tailors’. They are located not far from Red Fort, Delhi. They gave us a very warm welcome. They were able to provide me what I was looking for, took measurements, allowed me to get changed into a sample I took with me, offered many different options to get my suit made. The only thing I was not shown was my inner lining. I was told I would get a photo of it within 24 hours, it never arrived sadly. 72 hours later after calling 3 times and texting, still no picture. I then had to return to the shop and express my dissatisfaction. I spoke with the boss and took his number. I was shown the lining and was pleased. The boss apologised for the lack of communication from his staff. My suit was ready to be tailored. I was measured up on Tuesday and my suit was ready 7 days later. My flight was delayed, I therefore asked the Boss if he could have my suit delivered closer to home for me to be able to try on and catch my connection. He had my suit delivered in good time and it fit to perfection! (Although the suit bag was damaged too). I was so, so happy that my suit was tailored, delivered and fit like a glove. Thank you so much to the boss Hemanth. A super nice guy. He needs to get his staff in check with communication though. I was very happy I had chosen Ashok Tailors, despite the little hiccup, I would highly recommend and I would most definitely return too. Probably one of the best Tailors you’ll find in Delhi. had a terrible experience at Ashok Tailors, Chandni Chowk, and would strongly advise others to think twice before trusting them with expensive stitching. Despite charging a hefty premium, the basic expectation of quality tailoring was not met. The outfit could not be finalized until the third trial, which itself reflects poor initial measurement, lack of attention to detail, and weak craftsmanship. For a tailor that claims experience and charges top-tier prices, this level of inefficiency is unacceptable. What made the experience worse was the poor and indifferent service. There was no sense of ownership, no apology for the repeated trials, and absolutely no attempt to justify the premium they charge. The staff behaved as if delays and rework are normal and customers should simply accept it. When you pay a premium, you expect: Precision in the first trial Professional behavior Respect for the customer’s time Unfortunately, none of these were delivered. Chandni Chowk has plenty of tailors who offer better quality, better service, and better value for money. Ashok Tailors, sadly, is living off its name while delivering substandard results.

I was in Chandni Chowk when I found this store and it was an amazing experience. I got best suggestions and the collection here is by far the best I’ve ever came across. The prices are at their best and one can find all the suitable men’s garments like Suits, sherwanis, Indo westerns etc. as per their budget. I got all my shirts customised as per my fit and I am really happy. I will come back again and recommend everyone to visit and get to see the collection.

Ashok Tailors is truly exceptional! I recently got my outfits stitched here, and the fit, finish, and detailing were absolutely perfect. Prices are at high end. Poor quality of service. Poor material quality. I was told that the sherwani would be dry cleaned at delivery time but was dirty. It already look worn. Paid 6500 for this to get good material but the material was same as we get online for 4000. Got a suit for 15k which I can get for 10k at any brand(checked at raymond). I suggest not go trust the instagram/youtube ads blindly. So much disappointed with this!
