I had a disappointing experience with the tailor’s behaviour today at 3:30. When I visited, he was already busy with another task and asked me to wait. I politely suggested that he take his time and informed him that I would return after about half an hour to take my clothes but he was rudely saying you have to stay here still work is not getting done and otherwise come half and hour later with clothes then he can work on that but I insisted him take 2 customer work first even they came later me still he was same and rude talking saying that he will be not responsible for my clothes if i keep in his store.

Recently visited the place after reading the Reviews. The Tailor Master was absolutely disinterested in attending to me. There was no other customer in the shop then. He was into his mobile and seemed irritated with me asking for his suggestion. On letting him know he turned rude. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It probably must have changed over time with new people.

I heard a lot about this place and their skills in alterations of old cloths, this place is fabulous. The workers posses tremendous skills and speed. I took a L size shirt and altered it to somewhere between S and M, I was totally shocked to see it. Trust me guys this is fab for alterations. Just do visit for any alterations. They charge ₹70/-.

Initially this place was very good the master was very good but now the master is changed and the current position is very arrogant and his charging like a bomb. For the work which was just of the 15 minutes he made me wait for almost and one hour and for small jobs and charged terribly. He is super arrogant the work is not finished at all for fitting of hardly 3-4 kurtis and two pants he charged me rs 450 the fitting is absolutely not good the work is not finished I would need to read all this and the person has a big time attitude the current trailer is totally totally not worth at all. They are ruining up. Yesterday only I visited I understand this might be the Diwali rush time but it doesn't means you charge like a bomb and show up the attitude as if you are doing lots of favour or on us. Even the boutique tailors would not charge this hi I would absolutely not recommend anyone to visit him. To all the customers he was talking very arrogantly. He was like get your work today if you are interested tomorrow onwards I would not do any ladies job.

I have been to the main branch on MG road twice. In the first sitting i had 2 trousers, 2 Jeans and 3 shirts altered. They make you wear the clothes (they have a trial room) and the tailors estimate the reductions to the sleeve, shoulder, waist, length by just looking at them (that's the level of skill they have). They make the changes on the spot and return it to you!!! I was amazed and impressed to see the skill and speed at which they do the alteration. It took just over an hour to alter 7 garments Overall was very happy with the service and that's why today i went there with 22 garments (15 shirts and 7 trousers /jeans) and again they delivered with the same skill and efficiency in just over 3 hours. Rates are reasonable (ranging from Rs.50 to Rs.150 / garment, may go higher depending if there's some additional work involved), but would be better if you check with the tailor before the work is started.
5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ service in my book!!
Note - If you want any changes like zip change etc you will need to get the zip and they will fix it for you.
Note 2 - There was a closer branch near my house however i chose to go to the main branch at MG Road since the one near my house was relatively the newest branch and didn't want to take a chance.

Excellent alter specialist. Had to alter 2 jackets which I had purchased from abroad & were large in size. Went there for alteration & in 15 mins they were ready. The Master Tailor is a very skilled person & measures the alteration needed on the fly by asking you to wear the garment & gets it done precisely.

So We had been here just to fix a dress but at the end, the entire dresses needed a brand new long chain. We requested the tailors to do it for us. After one hesitation, they did the work and it was brilliant! They went out of their comfort zone and did a great work! They only work on small garment repairs

Best alteration tailor in town. Get your alterations done immediately in front of you. The staff is very skilled and there is lots of fast machinery to assist them. Prices are reasonable and there seems to be a lot of capacity.

This tailor is best for any type of alterations in blazer, suit, pant shirt etc.. I went there for size adjustment of my blazer. The tailor was so humble and respectful. They didn't charge any extra money than market. Happy with their service.

I had given 3 pants and one jacket for alterations. Pants were charged at 50₹ each which is bearable as compared to others who charge 30-40₹. For Jacket , the tailor completely goofed up with the pricing, while dropping he said it'll cost 400₹ and asked us to come after an hour. During pick up he said the total charge is 950₹ i.e 150₹ for 3 pants + 800₹ for Jacket, this was completely unacceptable and the tailor denied saying anything about the charges at the start.
In short, I don't recommend anybody to be conned like this, this is unacceptable and unethical behaviour. I would recommend you to first ask and confirm on the price from other shop which are adjacent to this.

There is no better place for alterations in Pune... It's a huge set up with multiple shops.... We got 10 heavy dresses altered in less than 40 mins... I altered the length of my tops, denims, pants and they were altered to absolute perfection !!!also, not very expensive ... Each alteration averages to 70/- Love this place !

***AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU LOVE YOUR CLOTHES***
Overhyped place .. it used to be good years ago, now they are so confident that they don't even take proper measurement, he didn't use the measuring tape, so overconfident and are so overloaded with work they spoil the finishing of clothes..
Even after giving instructions he ripped and messed up with the finishing of 5 of my jeans.
5 clothes were supposed to be altered with length and 5 were supposed to be altered with length and waist..
He altered all of them with waist and length.. he didn't even take proper measurement with tape just with chalks in hurry and effed up.
Later i realised he did it just for mere extra 20 rs.
For waist and length it's 70rs
And just for length is 50..
So just to earn 20 rs extra he altered all the jeans now 5 of my brand new jeans are uncomfortable to wear and it's original stitches are gone wch..
Look closely in the pics I've shown difference of half and 1 inch in both legs. This goofup makes wearing them uncomfortable and they slide in between and looks bad..
So if you really want to alter go to places where they are free not not bombarded with work.. one who takes proper measurements with tapes..these guys work on commission and to earn extra they effup with your clothes and just try to increase the billing.

Services were very good when sartaj himself used to do the alteration, he has expanded the services however quality has gone down and prices has increased, i have been a very old customer of his, feels bad to write this review, his staff needs to be trained, they have spoiled my new dress, which is very expensive, very disappointed. Enough workers. You do not need to wait at all. Quality work. It takes 70 rs for jeans/track height adjustment. 100 rs for height as well waist adjustment. 30 rs for normal stitches.

Overpriced.....they charged me 1400rs for 2 semistiched lehenga. Finishing is not at all good. Go at your own risk for lehenga alterations...never going back to them. I have my lehengas picture as well... however do not have option to post image

Sartaj Alterations shop is Great, Whenever me & my friend's want to alter clothes we only go to the Sartaj Alterations shop, where all the workers are work professionally, After the altering of the clothes, they are stiched back perfectly, they talk very polite, i have never been disappointed in this shop, all kinds of clothes, jackets, pants are alter there, I think charges are a little higher, Sartaj Alterations is also available at tilak road.

Sartaj Tailor have multiple centers and employees keep working across locations in rotation. I had a bad experience on one of the center located in Sangavi. Employee was not intrested and was working without taking measurements. Seems he was overconfident and damaged precious clothes. Please don't trust on their words. They commit you before starting the work but don't work as they said and as they have already started, at that moment you will realise you are scammed and you lost you precious clothing. Takr care and be careful before handing over your clothes to them.

They are expert in altering any type of cloths like whatever it may be from jeans to pajamas from croptop to blazers there is nothing they cant help you with. they've highly professional staff but one thing i want to convey is that not all the that good that you have to take care of that one think you can do is you can ask owner that you need expert for your altering other wise there are chances you'll not be satisfied with work. So let me tell you my a short experience, i went to alter new jeans he asked to try and show it once and asked me few question about how i want length confort everything and followed all instructions and gave it to him it was a brand new jeans after taking he just make a cut through it and i was just shocked i thought its gone but when he gave back to me and i tried it was perfect the observation is amazing. They changed a bit high but every penne is worth. I highly recommend everyone if you want alter your cloths must visit they are simply the best. Hope this will help you

This Sartaj Tailors at MG Road is the best destination for your all alteration related problems, I had loose Jeans I went there as some of my friends suggested it and yes it was beyond expectations, there are two shops at the same place and they will do your alternation just by looking at your outfit and that too accurate.
