Google should introduce negative rating just for people like these. Terrible tailor. Does not know how to cut or stitch. Any and every tailor in the world is 1000 times better than Verma.
He is just an old name. Does not carry the family legacy in terms of ability to stitch a cloth properly. Look at the sleeve length of the kurta in the image. And of the 3 beautiful birds which were on the cloth he made sure to cut off either through head or tail or some other part. Not a single piece was done right. If you can please avoid.
And the man and his wife are very rude. Refuse all responsibility after spoiling the clothes.

Hello madam,
Actually Google should verify whether the person writing a review is genuinely doing so or just out of her/his ego issues but I guess that will never happen. We are an old name. Had we been a terrible tailor then we wouldn't be in this business for past 64 years. But having said that we still won't say we are the best in this world. Tailoring is a subjective profession. Many like our work, some don't. But the hypocrisy here is that the measurements were given by YOU. Yes, let everyone reading this review know that the measurements were given by you. Sadly Google does not allow us to post whatsapp screenshot photos to our replies. When you are talking about a business then please refrain from their family, you know nothing and you have nothing to do with it. You talk about business only.
There were 4 jackets with lining to be made, all of different measurements and from a same cloth, there are technical boundations that you will understand only when you come and see a tailoring master cut the cloth. It is easy to imagine something but difficult to execute. Similarly it is easy to criticize without having a complete knowledge of the profession. The man and woman are 60 year olds 2nd generation carrying out the legacy of this business as best as they can. People admire them, may be you don't because you were unsatisfied with our work. Which is fine.

They took 4k from me to stitch the uniform, and what nonsense they made — nothing is proper! And took so much time to make it. Such very unprofessional behavior.

The 4k you paid is for 1 shirt, 1 trouser and 1 blazer along with the fabric. The time taken is because of your institute's inability to make proper decision whether to change the fabric or not. And as for the fitting of your dress you should have contacted us first and then written a review because a review won't change the fitting of your clothes.

Verma, has spoiled the relation maintained with them as a good tailor for past more than 10 years today.
Came to know that this Verma takes measurements but doesn't have expertise in tailoring so outsources the stitching job and also there is family disputes hence many Verma stores in locatity.
Took measurements properly before stitching school uniform. When collected after stitching completed, we found the uniform to be not of perfect size.
Blunder created by Verma was that the uniform was very short and tight body fitting.
When phone called for seeking explanation, he denied of having done any mistake and when asked for replacement, just got rude over phone and said replacement with proper fitting was not possible.
We wasted ₹2500/- approx + the commuting and allied charges by giving uniform order to Verma.
Such indecency and spoiling of years long relation was never expected from you Verma.
