If you want a suit that makes you feel like a million bucks, come here. I was blown away by their attention to detail. You can tell they’ve been doing this for a long time because they caught minor posture adjustments that other tailors completely missed.

I purchased Raymond brand fabric for a two-piece suit from Lucknow and later visited a Raymond showroom in Mumbai for stitching. However, they refused to stitch it, claiming that the length of the Raymond fabric was too short and unusable. I was shocked! 😅
Then I searched on Google and came across Newtone Clothier.
This is truly the best gents’ tailor in Powai! I got the same fabric stitched in a Jodhpuri style at an affordable price within just a few days. The fit is perfect, the stitching is excellent, and the suit is very comfortable. The staff is extremely supportive, cooperative, and experienced.

They are the worst, I gave them my husband’s blazer and pants, he did not even stitch them properly and called us several times for the trial, wrote 44 waist size instead of 47.
Later when I called he started yelling at me and also , abused me.
Please be very careful with them they are big time frauds. The pants were of no use to us, finally we told them to keep the pants to themselves, there were 3 pants worth rs.10,000.

I got Nehru suit stitched from this tailor. I had requested inside pockets in the Nehru suit which they forgot to put. On questioning they took it back and delivered after 4 days. The inside pockets fitted inside bulges out when looked from outside. It gives very poor look. Workmanship in this regard is very poor or C class. I informed the tailor politely my above opinion. Tailor staff are soft spoken. This is without prejudice.

First of all I don't think there are many tailors in Mumbai who can stitch a woman's business suit. I really struggled to find someone. I came across Newtone tailors as I live in Powai and decided to go for it. I had two pictures and I showed it to masterji. He is very humble and listens to whatever your demands are. Happily does any fixes you ask for during trial as well. Extremely affordable rates and good follow up. I think for the service and affordability it is definitely a 5 star.
