I cannot recommend Abhishek highly enough. Travelling from the UK to India for a six day trip, I was initially apprehensive about commissioning a made to measure suit in such a short time frame. However, Abhishek made the entire process seamless and exceptional. The service began four weeks before I even arrived, with prompt and clear communication to understand my needs. Upon arrival, I was met at my hotel, Abhishek himself was professional and attentive, and his master tailor took all my measurements with great precision. The timeline was incredibly impressive: a fitting was arranged and carried out just two days later, and my finished suit was delivered to me on Friday, the day before my departure. The efficiency was remarkable, but it was the quality that truly astounded me. I commissioned a two-piece navy blue suit made with 100% Merino wool with a contrasting light blue lining. The fit is perfect, the fabric is excellent and the craftsmanship is exceptional. I am "over the moon" with the final product. For anyone, especially an international visitor with limited time, looking for a top-tier made to measure or bespoke suit, Dononman is a great choice. A truly five-star experience from start to finish.

A great service and I’m very happy with the final product. Abhishek and the master tailor Kamar made a lovely suit and shirt for me and managed to fit the measuring and the trials into my quite busy schedule. Their business is online, and the model is that they turn up wherever you are in Mumbai, take your measurements, put your suit together for a trial fitting, and then make the final adjustments. The quality of their product is clear - Kamar is a great tailor and the suit was a great fit. Abhishek has amassed a wide range of fabrics. One slightly critical point I would make is that the “starting from” price listed on the website is far below what you will likely end up paying, in my case 3x that price. The “starting from” price is for a fabric you will probably not want to wear, indeed I wasn’t even shown that fabric, but the cheaper fabrics I was shown were already quite a lot more than the “starting from” price. I’m also a bigger guy so they used more fabric, so you also need to bear that in mind. Presumably the “starting from” price is also based upon a much slimmer possibly shorter gentleman. So in the end I did of course expect to pay more, but maybe not 3x more than the quoted price on the website that seduced me in the first place to get measured up. A fairer model in my view would be to post the full range of prices and fabrics on the website for various body shapes, stressing the difference in quality so the customer can go into the fitting understanding the range of what’s on offer. In the end I don’t feel the price I paid was unreasonable for such a quality product. It just takes a bit of the joy out of the purchasing experience if you feel a little bit like you were significantly upsold from an initial price point. Despite this, I think it was actually not a bad price in the end for a premium product and service, and most people would expect to pay more for quality. I’d just prefer to know this up front. In the end you’re getting a fantastic product and a service that comes directly to your home or office or hotel room and can make a top product with a very quick turnaround if needed. I hope to definitely buy another suit from Abhishek and Kamar in the future, this time with a much better understanding of what I am likely to pay, and the high quality of the product that I will get in return.
