Got a suit made from here. I had a lot of inputs on the design which they were gracious to execute and they executed so well! The suit fits me perfectly and looks amazing. I got a suit stiched from here last year. Overall the experience was very pleasant but I'm not satisfied with the final product. Fit wise, it's no better than other ready made suits I have. It's also not better than a couple of tailors I have used in India. Edited on 25.01.2025 after seeing response. Your reply lacks practical utility. I have spent extraordinarily large amount of time in your shop and interacting with you, only to have a less than average quality product in my hands. This hardly inspires confidence for further engagement. I have had tailored suits made in Bengaluru and Delhi in past. I barely remember the tailors' names and location because I spent so little time in their shops and almost none interacting offline. In the end I had a decent quality suit. The situation with you was precisely opposite. The suit took too long to get ready, leaving no time to make any changes in the end. All the while, I received so many other inputs about what makes a good suit etc. This is not appreciated.

I happen to reach out to them purely based on Google review. I collected two suits tailored from them today and all I can say is that MY SUITS ARE PERFECT!!! I have seen almost similar craftsmanship in NYC & London but those would have cost me a fortune and none in India so far. I have suits from R&T, Rymnds but none come within a mile of how these suits turned out to be! The father son duo are really gifted. If you are getting a suit made for the first time or for a special occasion.. ALWAYS go by their recommendation as they really know how to make you look good in a suit! We recently approached Modisto for a Modi jacket for my husband, and the speed and efficiency with which Mr Shridhar and Sushil consult with their clients is remarkable. In under 30 minutes, we had selected the jacket design and material. Additionally, we chose a shirt from a wide collection of samples—many available for delivery within a day from their dealers. This fast turnaround was crucial as we were in a rush. We were also impressed with their selection of kurta fabrics and ended up getting a beautiful kurta stitched as well. The trial fit was nearly perfect, and the final product was exceptional—fitting like a second skin. Given how seamless and professional the experience was, we returned just a few weeks later to have a blazer made for me. From cloth selection to design consultation, to the final fitting, the entire process was smooth. The blazer fit perfectly and made me feel confident and polished.

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing Modisto's bespoke suit-making services for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed! As a regular wearer of Raymond suits due to work, I was blown away by the vast array of fabrics, trims, and suit accessories available at Modisto. The multiple fitting sessions (three times!) truly made me understand the meaning of 'bespoke'. The end result? A petite but exceptional suit with unmatched quality and fitting! After speaking with them for 5 minutes, I was blown away by their vast amount of knowledge, attention to detail and craftsmanship. I wanted a custom suit for my wedding which was to be in December 2022, and after days of research and reading through online reviews, I chose Modisto to stitch my custom 3 piece Tuxedo, and what can I say, it was bang on one of the best decisions I made. Right from the get go when I first visited, Susheel and his dad Shridhar were welcoming and wanted to make sure they knew exactly what I wanted and accordingly gave me inputs. I wanted the suit to be stitched out of an imported Italian fabric and Susheel welcomed the idea and quickly got to work based on my requirements. They were ready to incorporate any design change I wanted in the suit and even gave their own advice on how the suit should be design-wise and what would make me stand out. After two trials, the suit was finally ready and I must say, it fitted me perfectly. Add to that, I got many compliments from my friends and family during the reception about how awesome the suit looked and how well it fitted me. Kudos to Susheel, Shridhar and the entire Modisto team for their work and I would highly recommend them for stitching custom suits be it for a wedding or any formal event.

Summary: Absolutely fantastic experience - strongly recommended! I purchased a black business suit, an additional pair of trousers, and two white shirts. Initially, I was a little sceptical in light of the number of glowing reviews (seemed too good to be true). However, my need to get a business suit stitched within a timeline was pressing - and I figured I might still be able to get an off-the-rack suit from Brooks Brothers if this did not work out well (and if the glowing reviews turned out to be fake). My doubts were instantly erased when I met Sridhar - Modisto’s Creative Director - his love for the craft and expertise are apparent immediately; I realised that I was in safe hands. Delivery was ensured within my (demanding) timeline - nothing felt rushed. While I did not meet Susheel in person, he was responsive and helpful over WhatsApp. The overall quality of all products was astounding - I will find it impossible to go back to off-the-rack clothing for my business needs in the future. In closing, I will continue to use Modisto - would surely recommend them to everyone that is serious about dressing well. Notes: 1) Parking in the area can be tricky - so the best time to reach would probably be late in the evening or on weekends; 2) Be sure to check out their extensive collection of fabrics before deciding - pricing seems reasonable and you are never pushed into purchasing anything just because of the price - Sridhar is very forthright and will help you make the correct purchase decision considering all factors; and 3) While the store may be in an industrial complex that is under renovation, don’t judge a book by its cover - the expertise and quality is very real. I can see customer numbers really increasing if they were to consider opening another store in a mall - Susheel, you should please consider this in due course.

After my first visit here, I have stopped buying readymade apparel since I could never find right fitting clothes off-the-rack, even with super premium brands. I always found it difficult to find a right type of a customised men's formal designer wear suit which could give an excellent fit for my husband's body type. I tried many ready to wear brands and even other custom made tailors but couldn't find anyone who understood bespoke (made to order) properly. I am glad to find Modisto who took every precise measurement to ensure that the suit looks like made for my husband only. The compliments he received for the fit, look, design and fabric truly belonged to the efforts taken by Modisto. I travel all the way from Chembur to Andheri to get my husband's formal suits made at Modisto for its excellent quality and smart designer look.

If you wear a suit, just because you have to, then off the rack options will do. However if you love the way you look in formal suits then Modisto is your answer. I had gone to get a Tuxedo stitched from them. Bang average for the price. The suit jacket is decent (after 4 fittings as I am hunch bag and that led to the back pinching) but the pants are super low waist that keep falling even after explicitly requesting for the pants to higher on the waist. They kept comparing themselves to Seville Row tailors during their pitch. Unfortunately not even close. They tried very hard though so kudos to that. Maybe it’s just not my style.

Worst tailor.. Must close the shop and take rest . Gave 3 pants to tailoring.End result was pathetic. Measurements taken at the time of tailoring differed from the final product delivered.They don't understand their own handwriting. Even a road side tailor would have done better. Entire fabric lost because of such tailors. Took 7500/- as tailoring charges but not even worth 0.75/-

Shridhar sir and Susheel are some of the most wonderful people I've ever met. They are very warm, hospitable and make you feel at home from the get go. I walked in looking to get suits and shirts stitched, but walked out telling myself that the next time I'm back in India, I will definitely stop by to just say hello and spend time with them. On to their work. I brought in my own material to have a couple of suits and a few shirts stitched by them. They don't usually work with outside material but made an exception for me for which I was grateful. I wanted something closer to bespoke, with a floating canvas (which would turn out to be beyond my budget). However, they offered an in between option that involved a canvas that was floating where it mattered (upper half) and partly fused (for the lower half). This resulted in a wonderful product. I appreciated them balancing what I desired while respecting my budget. After the first session, I came back for two trials and eventually a third time for the final check/pick-up of the suits. One needs to trust the process as the end product will live up to, and exceed your expectations (even if it doesn't seem so along the way). Both provided me with their opinions on the styling but also listened to me to understand what I wanted. They took great care in all the measurements, and constantly consulted each other on what would be the best outcome for me. It was heartwarming to see them working with each other. They are located in a very unassuming place but the moment you walk in, you can tell they are highly skilled in their craft. I will highly recommend Sridhar sir and Susheel. As people to acquaint yourself with, and of course for their suits. Thank you both very much.

I am an Australian living in Mumbai. I went to Modisto to have my first tailored suit made. Modisto is a wonderful father and son operation. They discuss each aspect of the suit with you to help you make informed decisions about fabrics and style. They take the necessary time to explain and share their expertise so that you are involved in customising your suit. They have a wide selection of fabrics to chose from that are ordered for each suit. A great deal of care was taken to make sure the suit fit properly. Susheel and his father discussed the alterations that were necessary. It is clear they are experts in making well fitting suits. For between 20,000 and 30,000 Rs I was able to get a beautiful, custom made, perfectly fitted suit with great attention to detail. I have already recommended Modisto to 3 friends and will continue to do so.

Since it was needed for an occasion I was having a strict deadline and he stuck to his word and delivered it on time. They are based in Andheri and you must visit them to get a master piece done for you. Which not only you will like, but also all the event or party members will be amazed by it. The suits knowledge and stitching experience of Susheel & Sridhar is parallel to Savile Row tailors in London. They explained us about the fusing which goes into suit making to type of Lapel - Shawl Lapel, Notch Lapel and Peak Lapel and the significance of each Lapel to Men's personality and when to wear. We went to stitch Son wedding Tuxedo which we loved it so much that we finally made 3 suits in Italian fabric with horse hair fusing canvas. And surely will make more in future. It's rare to find high quality tailors who take pride in their art, especially in Mumbai. Modisto is one of those of the rare finds. Sushil and his dad are extremely knowledgeable in their art and understand what it takes to deliver a well tailored suit. Having used Raymond's before and seen their quality process disintegrate over the years, I found the quality of the suits stitched at Modisto to be of a very high standard.
