My aged parent purchased two unstitched suits from this shop where free stitching was offered. One suit was given for stitching at the time of purchase and the other (Rs 1259) was taken home, as it was intended for my sister, who could come for measurements only when she was available.
When I later returned with the original bill to avail free stitching for the second suit, the staff refused and demanded ₹480 as stitching charges, stating that a ₹100 discount already given applied instead. However, no such condition was mentioned anywhere in writing on the bill or receipt, nor was there any written requirement that measurements must be given on the same day.
I even offered to return the ₹100 discount, but this was refused. When I calmly asked for clarification, the staff raised their voices and shouted, which was very upsetting and unprofessional.
Clear communication and respectful behaviour are expected, especially when an elderly customer made the purchase. This experience was disappointing. Customers are advised to get all offers clearly written before buying.

Never never go there. Customer service is pathetic. Quality is pathetic and service is even worse. They misplaced blouse and dresses were folded very badly. Please avoid at all costs. Worst experience.

Their stitching is perfect. They stitch neatly and follow the given measutements accurately. A bit costly, but worth it. They are mostly busy, hence we need to wait for a long time to give measurents ecspecially in festive season which is annoying. There were times when I went there and came back because of the rush.

It was a decent place a few years ago. But over the years, its quality has become deteriorating and the comfort is not up to the standards it has set over the years. Nowadays it's a viable option only for women.

One of oldest tailoring shop in Madurai. Personal opinion and experience is that it's a good shop for ladies tailoring works but not for gents. Principal Tailor has a habit of pushing his opinion than listening to the customers requirements - Has to be more open, accepting and listening to move to the next stage. Staffs are very welcoming and commitments on delivery are correctly met.
