Excellent fitting of blouses that I made for my wedding. They customized it with beautiful handwork embroidery. Truly appreciate the hard work put in and all staffs are co operative and always smiling.

They spoilt two of my sarees that I had given to be stitched to dresses. Extremely inflated prices, and the owner is so rude. When asked why they took the orders if they will do such as terrible job, the lady told me it was my fault to give it to her! What a horrible business! Please don't waste your money here! Unprofessional, rude, not at all skilled at tailoring. I can do a better job and I am not a tailor even.

Really really really bad tailoring. I gave them a sample blouse and all they had to do was replicate with the exact same measurements. I’m truly appalled at their workmanship. It looks like something I could stitch together, the fit is so poor that I say have to throw it out. Please do not waste your money and time. Go to Glamour instead.

Went for the first time to visit this store based off a recommendation. WORST experience. I feel cheated.
Paid for express service for the most basic blouse. Got it without interlock stitches and with poor stitch quality with threads coming out on Saturday.
When asked for it, says “can be done by Tuesday” ?!! why did I pay for an express service in that case ?!
The lady at the counter is rude, argumentative, arrogant and would not listen when I was actually sharing my requirements. At every comment she “knows better”.
ALSO they take only cash in this day and age.

We have been in tailoring industry for more than 40 years. Your blouse fitting was spot on and absolutely perfect as you have tried out the fitting. Moreover your Delivery was in time according to your suitability. As far as interlock is concerned we do not do interlock in blouses.

Excellent services with good timing and reasonable pricing. A must recommend place for ladies tailoring. Above all great behaviour with good knowledge of fashion. They also do embroidery and different kinds of dye in different materials to suit your needs. I tried blouse with their recommendations with embroidery and turned out really well.

They have completely ruined my blouse. I had given them 4 blouse and none of them had good fit. They kept the blouse for more than a month and even after repeated alteration it was not as per the fit. I highly recommend not to give your clothes for stitching here. Even the behaviour of staff there is not appropriate. Highly disappointed with the service.

Stitching is not good. I got my few Salwar suits made from there. I got my clothes back with different defect in each one. They don't even admit their mistake and say that it's my fault or the fabric quality is like that only.
P.S. I bought that fabric too from them only.
They have ruined all my festive clothes this year. Even the quality of zips n hooks used is so poor that it didn't last even for one month.

Absolutely pathetic experience with these women who are extremely rude, inefficient, judgemental and their tailors are pathetic at their job. They are very very expensive. Extremely bad fitting, with-sleeves blouses are delivered as sleeveless and you can’t do anything to fix it. They are extremely expensive yet they fail to deliver. They are going to judge you for making backless blouses too. NEVER EVER GO TO THEM.

We are making backless blouses day in day out, so question doesn't arise of judging anyone. We have a huge client base who prefers blouses that are modern and with different cuts. As far as fitting is concerned, you can always give it back for alteration we will definitely fix it according to your choice.

This shop does not even deserve 1 star. The worst experience I have ever had in any tailor shop. The behaviour of the people in the shop is extremely poor and all they care about is money. I got 2 blouses made in this shop, for me and my mother. It was for my wedding and both the blouses were disaster. Even they did not do the altering correctly and the condition in which the blouses were kept, left foldmarks. Also they made me make several trips to the shop for just 2 blouses and the lady in the shop did not even care to listen when we complained that the fitting was not right. Both the blouses are very expensive but totally ruined. This was the first and last time I went to this shop.

We got stitching done for close to Rs 10,000 which included some dresses, salwar churidar pieces and blouses for me and my mother. Not a single piece came out properly. All of them are misfit. We couldn't even wear them during the festival time. Absolute waste of money. I went there via recommendation of a friend but it was the worst pick.Their charges are also high and the quality of work is absolutely worthless!

Please bring the misfitt stuff back to our shop, so that we can do the needful. We have serving people for more than 35 years now, whatever issues regarding fitting can be altered according to your liking. So I would request you to please bring back the dresses so that it can be altered.

I along with my mother has been their customer since last 40 years. Few months ago during my wedding they made a blouse for me but the stich quality was so bad. I visited them and requested for another stitching but they behaved very badly. Never going to visit again not will recommend anyone 👎

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. They have ruined my daughter's kamiz fully. So many tiny holes were there in all over the kamiz and they were just ignoring us when we were complaining. Even they were continuously putting blame on us that the kamiz was defective from the beginning and it's our fault that we didn't notice. I embroidered that kamiz fully and now it's completely ruined for their IRRESPONSIBLENESS.NEVER EVEN THINK TO GIVE ANY OF YOUR CLOTHES TO THIS PLACE. MOST 3RD CLASS EXPERIENCE WE HAD.THE TAILORING SHOPS THOSE WE HAVE VISITED TILL DATE, NEVER WE WENT THROUGH THIS KIND OF WORST EXPERIENCE. Even blouse also they can not stitch properly. Even after marking for realteration twice, they didn't even bother to restitch those,inspite of taking 650 for each blouse.

EXTREMELY BAD EXPERIENCE. Never ever think to give any of your clothes to this shop. This was my worst decision to give one of my favorite kamiz here for stitching. My mother embroidered one kamiz for me and they have completely and successfully ruined it. God knows where they kept my kamiz, when I received it yesterday, lots and lots of tiny holes were there in all over my kamiz. They have left it completely in unwearable condition and even they denied their mistake continuously. They tried to convince us that the kamiz was defective from the beginning. Even for my other blouses also the fittings were too bad. Inspite of taking 650 for each of the blouses we had to keep those for twice and thrice for realteration. TOO BAD, TOO UNPROFESSIONAL, WORST SHOP EVER.

Please read the mouthshut review and all the negative reviews..it's true. Here ends my 10 year association with this tailoring shop. They dont even deserve 1 star. Ruined my bridal blouses, made me make multiple trips to the shop right before my marriage knowing very well how hectic that period is, made mockery of my woes, insulted me just because I asked for a female attendant while getting an alteration (which was never done correctly). The son and mother duo is specially rude with everyone, I believe because of their behavior most of the good masterjis have left and now their services have drastically deteriorated.

Although it's a all women things but accompanied my wife a few times there. Neat and clean ambience. stock is mind blowing according to my wife. Price is reasonable. They also tailor things. Good behaviour by the staff. Overall a happy place.

These people are horrible. Behaviour wise worse than roadside goons. I would have given negative star if there was an option.
There is a big chance that they will ruin your clothes.. and still blame you for it.
We gave a sari for fall-pico work. They kept it for weeks( because of festival time). That's ok. After i collected and bought it home to our utter surprise, the saree was damp, with a musty smell, and white fungus all over the fabric.
When we complained over the phone, instead of apolozising and taking due responsibility, they relayed the phone to one another three times. That means we had to talk the same thing to three diff people. Then, some lady, swiftly lied about receiving it that way. Overall they ruined the saree..
And one more thing. They only deal in cash and charge extra if we insist on paying by card. They are obviously evading tax. They need to be bought under IT scanner.

I have been getting all my blouses and Kurtis stitched from prasant for a long time. Not just me, my sister and mother too. We all are very happy with their work. And the best part is that get everything done within 24 hours in emergencies.

They don't accept card neither online payment. Though in the bill it mentioned no card accepted, but it is no being specified which card they are talking about(debit, credit, international or menu card).Plus there is no mention of non acceptance of online payment. They are doing nothing but harnessing the customers. Very bad and unprofessional behavior.

I thought only I had such kind of experience. The staff is very rude, doesn't know how to behave with customers. I went there twice because I am new here and didn't know many tailors around. However, both the time the experience was bad .
Surely not going again.
And they only insist on cash. Not even accomodating. If the staff isn't the owner. The Owner should take some action and intrust some atticates into them.
Not at all recommended.

Worst experience of a lifetime..never gonna trust them. I gave them 9 blouses in feb and when i went to take it in october it was still not ready..due to some misunderstandjng "according to them" and they will not accept their mistakes ever. Then i told them to make it befoe saptami they said that they will provide 4 blouses. When i went on saptami they told its still not ready come after 4 pm..this is a ridiculous behaviour on their part....never ever trust them

Very bad experience I had ever faced in my life while visited the shop for making 3 blouses after asking them over phone , but on that time they did not bother to tell me the timing of the shop.When I reached the shop at 7-50 pm the lady staff of the shop thrashed the door on my face and started behaving rudely even the owner of the shop also misbehaved with me . In this festive season whereas all the other shops are open upto 9pm this shop maintains a very odd timing for working women like us .
Due to some emergency I was bound to visirt the shop from far away after asking them but they are not ready to undersand the exigency or nor have the patience to hear or the attitude to serve the people . If the customer do not visit the shops then this shop owner will understand the truth. Requesting the others not to visit the shop for any purpose as they don't have the minimum courtesy to talk properly with their customer. Customer dealing is very bad.

Previously we have served you at your conveniences, made blouses as well as salwar suits for you according to your choice. But madam you have to understand that our order for the day closes at 7.30. People already inside the shop from before needs to be attended. And also all our staffs( mainly ladies) stay far away, they have to be released around 8.30 so that they could reach their home in time otherwise they will face conveyance problem. Yesterday you came after 8.05 pm. You might have seen we have refused other customers as well. Shop has its own timing. Still I apologize if our shop policies have hurt you in any manner.

If you are looking for a good ladies tailor in south Kolkata, it has to be Prasant tailor. Good sense of fashion with right application of it, special mention to Mr Rajat for designing blouses and salwar suits beautifully and also been very creative with different designs. At last the fitting was just awesome. We loved it. All blouses were perfectly fitted and strapless salwar suits was top notch at one go. Thank you Prasant. Will recommend this shop to all.

I had the worst experiance here and that too for tha first time I had been here. I gave a new saree to cut the blouse piece off the saree and the lady over there cut off the saree alongwith the blouse piece. I was so shocked as the saree was brand new and very expensive. I did not know what to tell them but should have thrashed them and asked for the price of the saree back. I don't know if there is any place where I can escalate the matter and where they can help me with this matter.

Very very bad experience, none of the staff are cooperative, delivery of my outfits we're promised dated 24th January and today it's 15th febFebru they are unable to trace my order, I called thrice today but they couldn't update ..and she is not even telling her name.
Will never recommend anyone, it's a suffering if you have to follow up so many times...please don't visit..even after paying RS.1000 per blouse it's not delivered till date...very very very bad experience ..wish I could rate them minus ratings.

Pathetic....Blouse was very badly made and alteration is also not possible. Neckline was very low compared to the measurement. First time at Prashant and was very disappointed. Kurti and churidaar have not yet been delivered..Not very optimistic. 300/- for a cotton blouse and dont even deliver the basics right.

Very bad service and rude behaviour. I had just 5 mins of work..just to give few blouse pieces and they will make the bill..(my measurement was already given)...but the lady over there behaved like we were street dogs...and shut the door on our face...very bad experience...i will urge others not to go over there
