Very disappointing and stressful experience. Would not recommend. I had an extremely poor experience at this tailoring boutique and feel others should be aware before trusting them with important outfits. Despite clearly explaining the design for my wedding blouse and the tailor taking detailed notes, they stitched something completely different from what I asked for. There was no attention to the instructions given. They also took incorrect measurements for my sister’s blouse, resulting in a badly stitched blouse that cannot even be corrected due to the design. This was entirely due to their measurement error. To make matters worse, they misplaced my nephew’s kurta and pant and outright argued with us, claiming they never received the clothes. We only got them back because we had photos taken at the time of submission as proof. If we hadn’t had those pictures, they would have simply denied responsibility and not returned the clothes at all. When we pointed out the mistakes in the blouse stitching, instead of accepting fault, they gave unreasonable excuses and tried to defend poor workmanship. They only acknowledged the issues after we brought in a professional tailor who explained the mistakes clearly. Overall, this was a very unprofessional, careless, and stressful experience—especially when dealing with important and sentimental clothing. I would strongly advise others to be very cautious before giving them any garments, particularly for special occasions.

This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. We gave wedding blouse along with a few other outfits for different functions for stitching, and they completely ruined everything. From the cutting to the stitching, nothing was done properly. Instead of accepting their mistakes, they kept giving silly excuses for every fault. These were important outfits for special occasions, and the lack of skill and responsibility was extremely disappointing. My sincere advice: do not give anything here for stitching, you will only regret it.

They have picked an interesting name for the shop... Swapna Manthra Fashion Studio! There is a good collection of dress material for ladies in this store. That is, for those who would like to select dress material and invest time and effort to get it stiched to their liking. The store also has a tailoring unit upstairs with a turnaround time of about 3 weeks. Location by the side of the Railway overbridge near Tripunithura market road makes it convenient; as it is away from the peak shopping centres and provides a few parking spots right in front of the store.

I had an extremely disappointing experience from Swapna Manthra.At the time when i gave my blouse for stitching,i had explained clearly all my ideas & requirements to the person concerned & she had assured me of the pattern.When I called them after two days past the delivery date,they told that the blouse is not ready & that it will be ready only by evening.When I went to collect the same it was so shocking that they had not done the pattern which we had discussed & it was looking Just like a normal blouse .We are giving such overrated price thinking there will be something special.. when i asked to reduce the pattern charge,they deducted only 100rs from the bill amount which was1850/-. I truly believe that they had taken the blouse for stitching on the day when I called them ,were they had 2 weeks time for stitching & gave me on a hurry burry without looking into the details thinking that we would accept whatever they give.. really very disappointed.

had a very disappointing experience with Swapna Manthara, Thrippunithura branch. We had gone there to get a custom frock designed for our newborn's noolukettu ceremony. Since we were unsure about the measurements, we took our baby to the store and they took the measurements themselves. Despite this, on the day of the ceremony, the frock turned out to be extremely tight. It got stuck on our baby's head while dressing, causing her a lot of discomfort and even mild suffocation. It was a very distressing moment for us as parents. We had no backup outfit because we trusted Swapna Manthara with this special occasion. Unfortunately, the ceremony was overshadowed by this mishap, and we were deeply disappointed by the lack of care in such an important order involving a newborn. Would not recommend for baby wear or any outfit that requires attention to comfort and accuracy.

Extremely Disappointed – Please Avoid This Boutique! We had a concept shoot planned, so we approached Swapna Manthra for the dress stitching. We had a detailed discussion with the owner, Swapna herself, where we clearly explained all our ideas and requirements. We even gave them a reference photo and asked them to stitch the exact dress. Swapna confidently claimed they were the best and assured us they could deliver exactly what we wanted. What we received was nothing close to the reference – the dress was extremely poorly made, looked terrible, and was completely unusable for the shoot. We tried calling Swapna multiple times to address the issue, but she ignored all our calls. She messaged once saying her team would take care of it, and then disappeared. The stitching was horrible, the quality was cheap, and the overall service was unprofessional and careless. It was a complete waste of time definitely not recommended!

Had an extremely disappointing experience from the place. I had given my blouse here for stitching because a relative had personally recommended the place. Despite it being exceptionally overpriced, they did not deliver on time and the fitting was not good despite multiple alterations for a plain simple blouse. Definitely would not recommend.

I had came here because of the reputation after a while of searching for a boutique to have my clothes stitched. They took many measurements, in which they completely ruined my cloth. They made a salwar with a very big flare in it when i asked for straight cut. The shoulders weren’t lined up, and the sleeve cuffs were suffocating. They had to alter it 4 times before they made it semi play looking. And not to mention they took over a month to stitch my clothes and completely ruined it. I would never recommend anyone go here if you want quality stitched clothing. I am very disappointed with my experience.

I would like to put in my heartfelt gratitude for the entire team in Swapna Mantra and special thanks to Hemanth for his valuable suggestions in designing. I had approached them around 2 wks back for stitching both my engagement and wedding function dresses. They did a totally great job with stitching my lehenga that too in less than a week's time. I received a lot of compliments for my outfit that day. Same with the wedding blouses, they only had 3-4 days for doing the hand work and stitching. The work they have done on my blouse is just so pretty. Once again, thanks to the entire crew of Swapna Mantra. And I would definitely recommend anyone to this boutique because you know what, they work on it with their whole hearts and you will definitely get to witness it.

Very bad service from their end.. Enquired a month ago regarding a bridal lehenga stitching, now when we made a follow up, they are saying that they cannot accept the order, and CANNOT GUARANTEE to deliver within the time frame even if they accept it (as they promised, the owner). A pre-book appointment, was something new that we came to know today, which we should have done when we made the first phone call a month ago, as per Deepthi, admin. It is ridiculous and also wasting our time, regarding the circumstances, which was already explained to them “more than 30 days ago”.

Do yourself a favour people. Don’t waste your money in this place. I spent 1.5k stitching change on a single blouse that l am never gonna wear. The first day my blouse felt like it was stitched for someone else. I gave them one more chance and the second day it fitted but feel suffocated overall and l am not gonna wear it. Thank you for ruining this for me.

I used to luv their stitching till they shifted to current shop. They were perfect.But my order after there shift, disappointed me, all clothes were not proper fitting, despite measurements being taken by them at the time of order. They altered it, but I expressed my opinion as I never expected something of this sort from them. The next time, I stepped into the shop, the very same lady purposely send me to a new staff, who couldn't get my requirements right. There were 3 people waiting for the regular staff.

Horrible experience. I had given a trial blouse for stitching and they ruined it by stitching it really bad . I asked them not to cut my manthrakodi cloth until the trial blouse is properly stitched . When I asked them to give back the manthrakodi blouse cloth the second time I went for trial blouse fitting they said they already cut the manthrakodi blouse. Not happy with the work they are doing and communication is zero.!!

I've been a customer at Swapnamantra Fashion Studio for 14 years now, and I wholeheartedly recommend this boutique to anyone seeking impeccable stitching with no need for adjustments. While I've come across comments mentioning its higher cost, it's important to note that for exceptional perfection, investing a bit more is entirely worthwhile compared to other options.

My bill was supposed to be 10000 and when I went to collect the order..it all amounted to 17000..I was baffled..The bill you get in the end will be entirely different from the budget you’ve shared with them. I was charged an additional 7000 rupees. I had clearly mentioned my budget and I had contacted them regularly for updates. I had asked them what the total amount was and the amount they shared was within my budget and I agreed. Only when I went to collect my order did I know that the amount they told me was only for the designing they did on my blouse and the stitching charges and other charges were not included. What is the point of the so called “budget” then?????? When asked about total amount who in the world would say the cost for a particular section of the entire work. Is that acceptable? They said that they would share the design once stitched but they didn’t. I called them And asked to share it. when I saw the photo it was totally different from what I expected and I asked them to fix it. For this they said it would cost an additional 1500 rupees and I had agreed and in the bill it was displayed 2700. For this they gave an explanation that it was only an approximate amount and it took more time and such lame excuses. If the work was to cost additional amount shouldn’t the customer be informed prior? Can you just put some random amount in the bill? I called for clarification and they said they would call back and they never did. No wonder!!!! My brother was getting married in less than 2 days and I had no choice other than to accept it . Had it not been urgent I would have left it there and just walked out of the place. Will NEVER EVER GO BACK OR SUGGEST THIS PLACE TO ANYONE.

My Mother and I have been their customers for over 8 years now. They are absolutely professional and one of top notch designer boutiques in Ernakulam. They have at their disposal fashion designers and artisans with impeccable taste and craftsmanship which truly makes them who they are. They are my go to people in case I need anything custom designed. I got all of my wedding outfits done there too. Swapna (the Founder and owner) was personally available and over saw the whole process for my outfits. They also have the provision for you to book the outfit delivery dates in advance in case it's a festive season/wedding season (saves a lot of time and prompt deliveries are guaranteed). Swathy (Fashion designer), Sreeja Chechi, Dhanya Chechi, Sheeba Chechi and Priya Chechi are some of my favorite people to work with at Swapna Manthra purely because of their sheer dedication, knowledge about fabrics, design and aesthetic sense, integrity, friendly and professional approach. Thank you so much for all the love, kindness and design sense you have passed on to me over these years. ❤️ It is a little expensive to get stitching done here, but quality and perfection comes with years of experience and they provide both. So I'd recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good place to get their outfits custom designed in or around Tripunithura.

I am very happy with swapna mantra, it was very short of notice I asked them to stitch the gown for my daughter and bridal blouse for my sister...i couldn't appreciate enough they have done a wonderful job....the dresses were perfect nothing to retouch and all...the staff and designers were a team and was really helpful...thank you all for the efforts....

Excellent galore of cotton Fabric. It is indeed a perfect destination for cotton lovers like me. Ever since I stepped into their store, I never felt like going to any other cotton store as Iam quite sure I won't be able to get this multitude of choices anywhere else. They have an aesthetic set of designers who would come out with brilliant designs much above your expectation. The staff is too friendly and cordial that you feel quite happy being there. Their stitching is too perfect that you won't feel like giving it anywhere else. Their designs are such that they can completely transform your look. You feel quite confident of yourself when you adorn youself with their costume. The aprreciation you get is unimaginable. Many of friends , colleagues and relatives are their satisfied customers. I would definitely suggest this store to anyone without a second thought. Perfectly satisfied with their service.

We went there after seeing so many good reviews.But I had a disappointing experience with them. I had only one blouse and the fitting was an utter disaster the first time.it had to be reworked two times to make it wearable.I would have been okay with this result if it were normal tailoring shop.considering the amount I paid for the blouse,the service they offered is subpar.l

THEY WILL CHEAT YOU. A blouse that my wife gave for stitching was totally different from the model that my wife shared with them. IT WAS A DISASTER. We asked them to change it and make it better and the additional amount we had to pay was shared with my wife and she was okay with it. Later on when we went to pick the order the amount was much higher than the amount shared with us. We asked them about the bill and they said what they shared was only an approximate amount. We had shared our budget with them during the first visit itself and the designer had noted it down in front of us. Since We were still not convinced with the amount, we called them twice. The first time the lady who picked the call said it might have been a miscommunication and so on. We called again and the lady said she would connect me to the designer the next day and she would break down the bill for us. Nobody called us back and that’s why we made sure that a review was posted. PLEASE DONT VISIT THIS PLACE.

I have been going to swapna manthra for more than 12 years. I never experienced anything bad and they always updated me before adding extra cost if there is any. Recently I have been purchasing pure cottons and ajraks fabrics from them and been getting it stitched in modern style. Needless to say they have been perfect in the stitching . There will be alterations because we are humans and we might shrink or bulk up and they have always been a great support and accommodating. Keep going . Amazing stuff

Very bad stitching. I had shared a reference picture to stitch but they did it different with sleeve size and also there were many wrinkles in it. We had to come all the way from edapally to Tripunitra to get it stitched. Measurements were taken thrice so we literally came thrice all the way from edapally to Tripunitra. It was a bridal blouse and was charged 5k for it. It was not 5k worth because we came thrice , three alternation, thrice remeasured and still no desired result. They ruined my mom's blouse as well - customer name Shilpa and Gils

Came across few comments here which is really saddening….and led me to write this review . I have been their customer for past 4 years not even once have I faced any bad experiences from any of the staff there, moreover all the clothes I got was super fantastic and perfect fit. It’s the most reliable& , excellent boutique for all your aspirations mostly going beyond expectations . I have been swapna customer since more than an decade and any shop / shopping destination for me is swapna mantra .
