I honestly feel so happy and grateful to share this review because this boutique has been a part of my stitching journey for more than 6 years now ❤️. Finding a place you can trust with your clothes is not easy, but from my very first experience, I felt I was in safe hands.
The founder, Fousiya, is such a kind and genuine person. Her approach towards customers is very warm and respectful, and she always makes sure we feel comfortable while discussing our ideas.
The designer, Ruksana, is truly talented. What I admire most about her is her honesty. Whenever I suggest a design that may not work well with my fabric or body type, she openly tells me and suggests alternative patterns that actually look even more beautiful. She never just agrees for the sake of it — she genuinely wants the final outfit to look good on me. That honesty builds so much trust, and she always makes me feel comfortable sharing my ideas.
The master tailor is excellent as well. His stitching, fitting, and finishing are always perfect, and he doesn’t need excessive fabric to create patterns, which shows his experience and precision .That level of expertise is rare.
Yes, the cost is slightly on the higher side, but the quality, fitting, and timely delivery make it completely worth it. There were times when I urgently needed outfits within 2 days, and they managed to deliver within that timeframe, which I truly appreciate.
Overall, I can happily say I am very satisfied with their work. This boutique is not just about stitching clothes — it’s about trust, comfort, and feeling confident in what you wear. I approached Team Kalika with my reception outfit idea, but honestly, the design I had in mind didn’t suit the material I had chosen. Even though the team suggested changing the fabric, I was fixed on keeping the colour I loved.
Despite the challenge, they never discouraged me. Instead, they put in a lot of effort, brainstorming and adjusting until they created an outfit that turned out beautifully. I received so many compliments on it!

I stitched my wedding blouse in kalika last month and I was absolutely satisfied with their service. I needed the blouse in 2 days because I had to go abroad and got it stitched perfectly on time. The staff was friendly and suggested the best suitable pattern for me. They even assured me that they can alter the size in case if needed at the time of my wedding which will be held after a few month. The price seems reasonable for their fast service. I will add the pictures from my wedding day later. Even though I was a bit late in adding my review I am definitely a happy customer of yours😄

It was a great experience meeting with this team , having short time period they had put their maximum efforts to complete our order .
Visited with a semi stitched wedding lehenga with embroidery blouse which was really hard to adjust with the measurements we want ..but they had done in an excellent way that the blouse and the lehenga comes correct exact fit to the measurements. Also the price was affordable and fare by compare to their work
Thier dedication to work and the costomer service and the costomer suggestions are also excellent.

Very bad experience with Kalikka Boutique. Gave my mother’s blouse for stitching and the fitting was totally off—no perfection or finishing at all. We expected professional work for the price but were very disappointed. On top of that, the owner, Fousia, was extremely rude and unprofessional in her behavior. She dont no to treat the customer. Charged ₹1750, which is way too high for such poor quality and service. Definitely not recommended at all

The punctuality and quality of work is really appreciateable. More than anything their cooperation with the customers was really remarkable. Unlike other tailors/ boutiques they give the utmost priority to customer satisfaction. I emphasis this point becouse on the day of delivery though I was late to reach shop, they waited for me and did all the alterations as per the request without any complaints or impatience and stayed late upto 10 pm. We are disappointed to see this false and misleading review. After checking our records, we found no customer named “Jisha” and “Bhavya” has ever used our services. Our blouse stitching starts at ₹1650 we’ve never offered it at ₹1500 as claimed.
We maintain proper billing and delivery records, and no such complaint has been made under this name. This appears to be a deliberate attempt to harm our reputation, and we take such actions seriously.
We welcome honest feedback but we will not tolerate false accusations.

I have known Kalika for about 10 years now and contacted them about a month before my wedding while I was still abroad. Though I was bit worried about my wedding saree blouses, they told me not to worry and to just come in once I arrived—so I literally went straight from the airport to the boutique!
Fousia chechi and her team were amazing. I gave them my measurements, references, and some design ideas, and they managed to complete everything in just four days. The embroidery and handwork were all done so beautifully and with so much attention to detail, even in such a short time.
There were a couple of issues with some of the materials I brought in. The lehenga blouse I had was completely backless, which I didn’t want, so they added a back panel that blended in perfectly with the design. My settu mundu saree also had an upside-down lotus motif on the sleeve (a weaving issue), and they fixed it with some lovely stonework that made it look intentional. They went above & beyond in search of stones that perfectly matched my materials.
They also stitched my mum’s saree blouses, and everything turned out perfectly. I’m genuinely so thankful for their effort, patience, and skill. I’d highly recommend Kalika to anyone—especially if you’re short on time but still want quality and care.

I am delighted with all the pieces that I got made. The stitching on all my blouses were exceptional. I am very grateful to Fousia and her staff who guided me as to the colour and shape of the blouses that would suit me best. They paid careful attention to my requests regarding the details on each of the pieces, while also giving me an insight into their ideas. I only had a very short vacation in Kerala, however the staff were able to provide me with the stitched blouses within 3/4 days which I was very happy about and they even helped out by delivering the pieces to my house. I have stitched a blouse with embroidery and a churidar top....the work is fine and the fitting good.
The only concern is about the price..We understand that the embroidery work would cost more ...m fine with the rate of embroidery but the basic blouse stitching cost is very high.So every time I need to stitch an ordinary blouse I have to think twice... I would only be thinking of stitching at Kalika for any function dresses or blouses for weddings as the embroidery rates are reasonable.
