I am getting my clothes stitched here since 2011. 13 years ago, I would say with confidence that there was no better tailor than him in the Kanpur, but today his tailoring is the worst among all. He writes one thing, his tailor makes something else, and after that, if you say something to him, his acting is worth watching. They start fighting and shouting among themselves so that the person in front of them automatically becomes quiet.
The cost of stitching a shirt is 850 rupees but if you don't get the work of your choice then there is no point in getting clothes stitched here.

The tailor shop is run by 2 brothers, the stitching quality is acceptable and they outsource most of the work. The shop is quite expensive the stitching for a formal trousers went up from Rs 500 and Rs 650 in one year and a suit from Rs 3500 to 5500. The more important part is that the two brothers will try to sell you clothes for stitching or additional things(slightly different pocket or expensive looking buttons etc, which actually may not be), which they will ask you to pay extra for, which a tailor should provide in any case. One strange part is they will shout it each other to divert the attention of customer and to suggest that their service is the best, which is not. Over all not a good experience especially after paying almost Rs 4000 as stitching for 3 sets of trousers & shirt when the cost of clothes was only Rs 2000. Guess buying readymade or stitching from a more sensible tailor are better options. I have decided to discontinue using them in future, after using them for more than 15 years now.
