Ansari Tailors

An average and expensive Tailor. The quality of service is bad and slow too. They don’t even provide the services of the value they take. They know how to make customers fool and charge high prices. I gave my three pajamas to put elastic in them and one pajama for sewing its pocket at around 4:30 pm. The rate of elastic was Rs 120 per pajama and the rate for sewing only one pocket was Rs 50, which is really expensive. I was told to pick up the clothes the next day at the same time. When I went to pick up the clothes the next day at 8:45 pm, I was told to wait for around 45 minutes more because the pajamas were not ready. I found out they have not even started to work on two pairs of pajamas. When I got my clothes back, the elastic was of a very poor quality and not up to the mark. The pocket was sewed only partially. The finishing was also really bad and the threads were sticking out from many places. I further enquired about the cost for changing the chain of a jacket which was Rs 350 and really very expensive. I am really disappointed and really surprised that even after being a famous and an old tailor, the owner himself don’t care about time and quality services even after charging higher prices than the market. About the tailors, they provide many services for both men and women including recording measurements, marking alternations and sewing garments. They are equipped with a lot of required tailoring tools including the modernised sewing machines, threads, needles, scissors, chalk markers, rulers, measuring tape, garment shears and thimbles. The infrastructure is good and the indoors are well designed and well maintained. Overall, a poor experience and would highly advise the customers to check the prices before ordering and check the services and finishing in detail at the time of the payment and pick up of clothes.
