I can only say i was more than impressed with the service and attention to detail my good wife, Lady Emma, and myself received from the great Tofiq Khan, upon arrival at this fine establishment. Fair Deal Textile staff were more than accommodating to our needs and understanding of what we were seeking to purchase. The service and time he and his fine staff give to oneself upon arrival is second to none. And all given in a very casual manner with no hassle of being pressured into making purchases. Lady Emma, had several garments made to fit, with such ease and care. I myself had 6 short length kurtas made of fine cottons, as well as excellent linens. All made to order and done within 24 hours of being measured in house. Tofiq Khan, has an excellent eye for detail in helping all comers in choosing the right colours and fabrics that will suit one’s everyday needs. This fine Textile establishment can make all manner of garments, including suits, shirts, trousers, scarfs, toiletry bags, hand bags and fine traditional Indian, as well as other Asian styles of clothing. Mr Khan, and his wonderful staff, tailor to your needs, whether your looking to bulk buy or merely looking to purchase a few causal garments on your travels. They will export your garments to the global world or to your own personal address depending on your needs. I will certainly be returning to this excellent textile establishment in the not to distant future and can cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you Mr Khan, and your wonderful staff for your excellent hospitality.

This place is definitely for foreigners that get brought here by tuk tuk drivers. That’s not the problem, it’s that they have really high prices and low quality for what it is. I came here looking to make a skirt quickly (within the day) but I ended up getting it the next day anyways. They lied and said the fabric was silk, kept pushing pashminas, other items… their English is really good but the products are so poor quality for the price. I paid 3800 rupees for this cheaply made skirt. This is an absolutely ridiculous price. They didn’t even get the waist done correctly. So beware!

Editing my review because having spent more time in Jaipur, it is very clear that I was scammed here. In the simplest terms - your Tuk Tuk driver will bring you here because they are getting commission on anything you buy. The prices are absolutely ridiculous compared to other textile shops in Jaipur for the SAME FABRICS and items. We did not ask to be brought here but on our first day in Jaipur, our Tuk Tuk driver said he “wanted to show us Jaipur specialties”. Upon arrival they said he can make any article of clothing custom for you in 2 hours. They took us upstairs to look at fabrics and I chose two fabrics for two pairs of tailored pants. I paid 2,700 for one pair and 1,900 for another. After I paid, he said I had to come back tomorrow after 4 to pick up the pants. This was really inconvenient, especially after he had said *before payment* that they would be ready with in hours. I also bought two small tapestries, one for 2,800 because he said it was Royal Family Fabric (total lie). In the days after we went to many other, even nicer textile shops. The prices at the other textile shops were NOTHING in comparison to how I had been ripped off here at “Fair Deal Textile”. For the same fabric and the same pants other textile shops offered for 1,500. His prices varied by fabric which was part of the scam. They prey on white people and lie lie lie. When I went to pick up the tailored pants, he wouldn’t give them to me until I sat down and wrote a 5 star review. After writing the review he said he would give me a “free gift” then tried to get me to buy another tapestry. The price he offered then was much lower than the high prices I had ALREADY PAID the day before. Which was infuriating! I kept my calm and just left with the items I had already purchased. I have friends visiting Jaipur and I will specifically tell them to stay away from this textile shop.

I gave them an existing short sleeve shirt to measure from, and they successfully cloned the exact same fit with 4 fabrics of my choice. I figured it was a low-stakes way to test. Going away, I was a little sceptical to be honest. But, I am very happy with the result. The work speaks for itself. High quality, great fit, good fabrics. Super accurate. I’m really happy with the result and what I paid for it, which was very little by western standards. My only regret is that I didn’t bring more reference items of clothing for them to work with! Summer is sorted for now. If I come back to Jaipur, I’ll come back here.

I was brought to this place to check out print pressing and ended up loving the store here. They have so many beautiful prints and fabrics, and they're able to create any type of garment and tailor clothes to your body. I ended up getting this amazing double lined vest with edits to the shoulders to fit me better, and the price was so nice for the quality. They made a promise to deliver the tailored vest by the following day since I was leaving, and rest assured it was hand delivered (during Diwali too!). Highly recommend this place for anyone.
