Amir and his brothers did some amazing work on this beautiful hand-stitched suit just in time for my summer internship. Aamir, his brothers and father were very welcoming from the moment I walked in to their shop. They have much knowledge about the fabrics and the stitching, guiding me through the process. They listened to what I had in mind (a womenโs suit European style) and used my example pictures as reference, but also gave advise about what would be better options for the stitching and material. After only 1,5 days my suit was ready for fitting, and that went very smoothly. They listened to what kind of adjustments I wanted and they used their skills to made sure that my suit fitted in the best way possible. Again 1,5 days later I could pick up my finished suit and I am so happy with the results, it is amazing and fits perfectly. They make everything themselves in their workshop. All the brothers are so nice and their English is very good, so easy to communicate.
I am so very happy with choosing Sana tailors! Really recommend!

I had a really great experience at this tailor shop. Itโs a family-operated place where the father and his sons work together, and you can really feel the harmony and teamwork that comes from a family business. They make you feel welcome right away and take the time to understand what you want.
They were extremely helpful when it came to choosing fabrics and styles. I ended up getting a suit, shorts, shirts, and pants made, and Iโm very happy with everything. The quality and fit are excellent.

Me and my boyfriend got some custom made clothes tailored at Sana tailors. Within 4.5 days they managed to finish 3 suits, 1 Lengha, 2 button down shirts and 2 western outfits, all from Pinterest inspiration - very fast service. In the end there wasnโt enough time for some small alterations which I will have to get done at home - but I guess thatโs on me since I went a little overboard with the amount of clothes I wanted to get done is such little time.
They took us fabric shopping and we did some fittings in between for alterations. Especially my boyfriends suits and shirts turned out very well since they are specialised on menโs clothing.
Overall a good experience.

I visited Sana Tailor following the positive reviews online, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. I have been living in Jaipur for a while and am married to a local, so I am quite familiar with the fair market prices for tailoring services here. Since my regular tailor was overbooked, I decided to give this place a try.
While the staff were polite, their pricing is honestly outrageous. They quoted me 2,000 INR for a simple tie-front button-down shirt and 4,000 INR for a standard Kurta-Pyjama set. These are extremely high prices for Jaipur, and you can definitely find equally talented tailors in the city who charge much more reasonable rates. Even if these prices seem low in foreign currency, I believe it is better to support businesses that maintain fair and honest pricing for everyone.
Beyond the cost, I was disappointed by their lack of flexibility. I requested a simple button-down shirt without a collar, and they told me they couldn't do it because the "specialist" for that specific style wasn't available. They also refused to repurpose fabric from an old dress into something new.
If you are looking for a professional and fairly priced tailor who can handle various requests, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

I had an excellent experience with the Sana family tailor shop. I opted for a suit, 2 dress shirts, a casual short sleeve shirt, a pair of pyjama pants anda pair of corduroys.
With the tailors, we went to a fabric store (separate from the tailor shop) to purchase fabric for the items. Very fun to learn about and pick out different materials. The store had pretty much any kind of regular clothing fabric you might be looking for except for denim or technical outdoor fabrics. I was pleasantly surprised to see the high quality suit wools were from Italy or Australia.
Upon return to the tailor shop, measurements were taken and final style decisions made. If you have specific requirements, now is the time to ask. Sana can accommodate many requests but make sure you know what you want and are explicit.
Three days later I had a fitting. Things were a little tight over all. I prefer my clothes a little looser so adjustments were noted.
The next day, I had my full order made to perfection. Overall, a wonderful experience. The quality is exquisite, attention to detail is fantastic and the price is extremely fair and vastly more affordable than the same service in the US or UK. Itโs worth noting the prices are fixed with set prices for stitching and fabric. This isnโt somewhere you negotiate.
I thoroughly recommend Sana if youโre looking for made to measure clothing in Jaipur.

Aamir exceeded my expectations with the quality and attention to detail he has given my projects. He has turned them into fabulous pieces of clothing that I am totally in love with. I left him with some beautiful fabrics and some old favourite items of clothing that needed repairs and he has worked his magic. I'm back in the UK and yesterday a parcel of carefully packed items arrived.
I have 2 new jumpsuits, 3 skirts, a pair of trousers, 2 floaty tops and a bath robe. My new clothes are exactly as I wanted them to be and the detailing (which is extensive on some pieces) has been precisely replicated, improved even. Aamir also helped me to design a stunning skirt for some beautiful silk fabrics I found in Jaipur. The damage on the original items has been repaired.
I couldn't be happier- it's quite a thing to leave your favourite clothes and a bunch of wonderful fabrics with someone you haven't met before and trust that they will find their way 5000 miles back to you! Very much appreciate your skills and care in making all this happen Aamir.
