I visited diwan saheb Gurugram 8-9 days ago and gave 2 suits and 1 shirt.The design was already selected by me and the carved the same design on both the suites and the fitting of the suit was fantastic.
I was handled by DANISH and measurements were taken by JAVED MASTER..
Both the staff was very polite and humble and helped in selecting best fabric for me…

So they have been known for their custom tailoring. Now suddenly they have become a fabric store. They will not stitch any fabric unless you buy from them. It’s like a force to buy policy. We have used DS for the last 5 yrs and suddenly the policy is you buy low quality expensive piece of fabric from them and then pay the premium stitching on top of that. It’s a tailoring shop at the end armtwisting customers. Why not stick to what you are great at which was tailoring! + Reply to you response - we have alway gotten just shirts, trousers or formal suits done for my husband. We were outright denied by the guy in blue blazer who was next to dressing room followed by another who is the manager i guess (beige suite, bearded man) - said i'll call up madam and check if your request can be accepted (after we pleaded) and he came back saying sorry ma'am our policy is changed, we can not take outside fabrics. Its company policy. To our plight, its sad that i am now getting this response. There was no confusion - we were send back from the store inspite of being regulars for the past 5 years here. its just very sad. I feel bad for the management who are puuting in so much work to run an establishment and the communication is messed up.

There seems to be a confusion somewhere. We do stitch fabrics which are not bought from us, but we will not be able to create designer wear from those fabrics. If you wish to get classic shirts, trouser, suits etc stitched, you are more than welcome to get your own fabrics at any of our stores

I recently had a suit tailored and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish. The suit I received was poorly stitched, with noticeable flaws in the seams and fitting. Despite raising my concerns with the staff, they seemed indifferent and did not take my feedback seriously. This lack of attention to detail and customer care was highly disappointing. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for quality craftsmanship and customer-centric service.

Firstly, the collection seemed outdated. Most of the Indo western outfits on display appeared to be from 2-3 years ago, and the styles have clearly fallen out of fashion. Indian fashion is known for its vibrant and ever-evolving trends, but it felt like Diwan Saheb hadn’t kept up with the times.
Moreover, the prices were exorbitantly high, especially considering the age of the collection. Paying premium prices for outdated fashion just doesn't make sense. It felt like the store hadn't updated its stock in a long time, yet the prices did not reflect that.
However, I did notice they had some decent three-piece suits suitable for wedding occasions. Despite the lack of updated fashion in traditional options, these suits might appeal to those looking for classic styles.
Overall, I left the store empty-handed and frustrated. If you're looking for the latest trends in men's fashion for special occasions, Diwan Saheb Gurugram is not the place to go. Save your time and money and look elsewhere.

My experience was quite disappointing. I had gone here with my family to pick a sherwani for my wedding. We even liked one and were ready to buy it, but the store head has such an attitude as if he was doing us a favour. Another salesperson was adamant that I take off the sherwani which was such a put off.
I ended up going to a different place and bought a sherwani which was 30% more expensive. The non welcoming attitude of the staff cost them the sale.

Salesman was rude and the selection of fabrics was very small. There are two much nicer tailors in the mall close by. I don’t understand why the guy was rude I just wanted to look around at the fabrics that were available and some of the ready made shirts. I think he thought if he was pushy I would be more likely to buy something. He was a young guy not very strong or handsome looking but very rude.

The most useless and incompetent tailor made suits shop one can get. Absolutely pathetic tailoring skills. Got two suits stitched and it had to go thru multiple rounds of iterations for it to be just about acceptable at this price, one expects to have professional service but these are no where near. A road side tailor can do a better job. Shameless bunch of people - don’t waste your time and money with this low quality outlet.

I cannot praise Diwan Saheb enough for the bespoke tailoring experience for my daughters wedding. I had connected with the store manger, Ms Rajeshwari prior to my arrival in India and thanks to the expertise of Danish and Shanu Masterji, I got bandhgalas, indo-westerns, western suits, linen jackets, dress shirts made for both, my son and for me in record time. We got a lot of compliments during the wedding and I have been referring Diwan Saheb to all my friends. They also ship to the US and make the entire buying experience very seamless.

At this place I had the worst experience ever, I purchased some dress and payed full amount in advance but same day, when my family members were quite unsatisfied with the design and colour of the dress so I called the store and asked them to put my article on hold and on the next day I went to store and purchased something that was 20k low priced than my previous article so we asked a refund for the 20k amount, the person on the reception named Kamal told us that he will talk to the headquarters of Diwan Saheb and ask for return. Whenever we called him he always said he will talk and revert back to us, but even after 15-17 days when we went to store for trials he had no clue about the refund now I had my items done and bought them home but no refund has been made till now, nearly 22 days have passed. On the delivery date of the items when we talked to their boss on call, he was like first write that the amount has been refunded and sign under it after that the next day the amount will be reverted in your bank account.
These people have a pathetic service, Not recommended to any one if you want to get your clothes peacefully!!

You decided to make a change to your outfits which was very well informed to us, The new outfits you chose were of a lesser value to the original outfit by approx 20k. We informed you at that time also that we will not be able to issue you a refund as it is against the company policy, and we shall issue a credit note which you can use within a period of one year. You were at the store at 9:30 pm last night and you insisted that the refund should be done. You spoke to with the owners, and as a special gesture, it was agreed upon. It was for the mutual benefit of both the parties that this was done in writing, and as discussed with Mr. Sumit Diwan on the phone, it was mentioned on the credit note that the refund shall be initiated the next day, i.e. the 11th Nov, 21.
I am sure there is a misunderstanding here. If there is any clarification required for the same, pls do not hesitate to contact the staff at the store and they shall get you in touch with Mr. Sumit Diwan.

Came in to order my son's wedding sherwani and and a sherwani for my husband to wear on the wedding day. Worked with the designer and store manager Rajeshwari to come up with two outfits that were perfect. Her professionalism in following up and delivering both items on time was impeccable. Being from NY and ordering items from Delhi you would think would be a challenge. But communication with her was easy and transparent. Would recommend if you need Grooms outfits or wedding outfits for men's this is great place.

I am v fond of tailored suits and as such I went here for a bandgala for the occasion of my sister's wedding. They took 4 trials to figure out how the suit should fit and delivered it after two months of placing the order, ONE DAY BEFORE the wedding AND IT STILL DIDNT FIT. The staff, especially Bhuvan, Kamal and the lady who sits at the reception, who is apparently the manager, were unapologetic and had absolutely zero coordination between them. Their only concern was regarding the payment and that the piece was dry cleaned for us, the fitting apparently did not matter to them.
A special mention to Kamal who made this whole ordeal all the more worse for us with his babbling demeanor trying to force us into buying something we didn't want and to the lady who sits at the desk, Bhagyashree or something who initially designed this but was absolutely useless in making it fit. Her borderline rude refusal to accept that the fitting was flawed was not only infuriating but disrespectful and offensive to my father.
This is by far the worst experience I've had at a bespoken tailoring shop.
They made an absolute mockery of getting a suit delivered and all this left such a bad taste that I don't think I will step foot in diwan sahib ever again.

Spent couple of Lakhs for 2 suits from Diwan Sahib, subsequent alterations were meant to be free , they charge 10k per alternative just to do minor fitting, which most tailors do for free once you’ve spent that kind of money. No customer service , purely a money driven outlet / chain

Very expensive. Did a poor job stiching my suits and sherwani. For something so expensive they did not leave in margin for future alteration. For small alteration they wanted to charge ₹4k.Poor. Thoroughly dissatisfied. Wouldn't recommend to any one.

Pathetic services by dewan saheb puca road. I have stitched a sherwani and it was given before 1 month of my marriage and they deliver the sherwani on my marriage day. They charge high amount but deliver the services very poor. Local shops are better than dewan saheb atleast they are Faithfuls for commitment.

Totally unprofessional bunch of people. Wasted my money as fabric turned out to very inferior. Stitching inspite of five trial trips didn't work. I would never recommend Diwan Saheb to anyone.
Money is paid in advance so they don't care if you get what you paid for or not.

After we were done with all measuring I was going to pay. But they had issues with their payment system. I suggested that I would be allowed to pay when I came for the fitting but that wasn't possible. Instead of adjusting to their issue I had to leave because they couldn't solve the issue.

Hello Sir, as a matter of company policy and nature of customised business , we cannot start an order without an advance. However, there could have been a possibility to get the advance picked up. The manager at the store gave you an option to somehow get the advance picked from you or to send someone to your home with a credit card machine. I am sorry for the inconvenience caused, but our company policy does not allow to process an order without an advance, and as we had a communication issue with the credit card payment, we are ready to give you an alternative to make a payment. I understand that you wished to make the payment on ur trial, but that would not be a possibility.
