The Stitches

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this tailoring shop I gave my material for stitching on 13th December 2025, and the promised delivery date was 10th January 2026. After the delivery date passed, I contacted the team to check if the clothes were ready, but there was no response until evening. Later, a team member texted saying the clothes were still not ready and asked for more time. When I sent my mother to visit the shop in person, we were shocked to find that the shop had shifted to a new location without any prior intimation. When questioned, the team said they had posted the update on their Instagram and WhatsApp status and asked whether I had not checked it. It is highly unprofessional to expect customers to rely on social media status updates for important information like a location change. We were also told that the shop name had changed and that there were a new team and new tailors. However, when I went to collect my clothes, I saw the same lady and the same tailor who had taken my measurements earlier There was an unacceptable delay despite multiple follow-ups. At one point, I was told that they had missed collecting payment for the top, even though they collected the full payment beforehand. They couldn’t find my material which I gave for stitching, sent a photo for my confirmation and after that they had confusion that the team could not even differentiate between dupatta, top, and pant material from a salwar set when they had professional tailors and designers, after all this hustle I was assured that the clothes would be ready by Saturday at 4 PM, but when I arrived around 5 PM, they were still being ironed. After all this delay and inconvenience, I expected at least good stitching. Unfortunately, the fitting was extremely poor. The outfits looked like pillow covers when worn. I am aware of my body type, but I have received much better stitching even from one-hour tailors. Despite having a big team and a well-located shop, they failed on every promise. This has been the worst tailoring experience I have ever had. I will neither return nor recommend this shop to anyone

I have been getting my blouses stitched here since my last trip to India and every time it has been such a good experience. Namrata the designer is wonderful. She really pays attention to the smallest details and makes sure everything comes out perfect. She is also super creative and quickly suggests ideas when I share mine. The best part for me is the fitting, especially around the arms where most other tailors I tried before always messed up or were not consistent. But here it has always been spot on. Honestly Stitches has never failed me and they always go beyond what I expect. The staff is so welcoming, the tailors know their craft, and with Namrata’s inputs this place has become my go to for all my stitching needs. Really happy with the service so far and hope they keep it up.
