Bhanu (order #4467) did an amazing job on my blouses - the fit, design, and stitching were great. She was careful to note down any requests I had and delivered the blouses on time.
Eshwari took care of another order including sourcing blouse fabrics for some older sarees for which we didn’t have blouses anymore. She did an amazing color match and the blouses look like they were original.
The design and stitching were also exactly as requested.
I highly recommend Athreya blouses. They delivered 10 blouses within 5 or so days and the workmanship was wonderful.

I visited Atreya Blouses in Nungambakkam for the first time last Saturday, based on a friend’s recommendation for their stitching quality. Due to difficulty finding the location, I reached the shop at 7:00 PM, even though the closing time mentioned is 7:30 PM. I clearly informed the staff that it was my first visit and that I had lost my way.
Unfortunately, the admin staff member( a lady with specks) was unapproachable and dismissive, stating that it was billing time and asking me to come back the next day, without any warmth or basic courtesy. There was no effort to understand the situation or welcome a first-time customer.
While I respect and understand operational constraints of the store whatever they follow. However customer experience—especially the first interaction—plays a crucial role. Regardless of pricing or stitching quality, a welcoming attitude and clear communication are essential. This experience left me disappointed and influenced my decision not to proceed with their services again.

Hi Renu i apologise for the problem you went thru, what would have happened is that , my designer who takes order would have left early on permission and the staff at the counter are not equipped to take measurements. So kindly take my apology and do come and we will service you at our best

PLEASE DONT GO HERE
I have never seen such a worst tailoring place. They take measurements with ready made blouses and the stitching is WORST. Minor corrections can be altered but the entire blouse can’t be altered. We literally went like 10 times for alterations but the purpose is not solved and the blouse was only wasted. It’s a total waste of money. U want the order number I am attaching the photo. OVERALL UR STITCHING IS WORST. This is the outcome after 10 times of adjustment

Athma...the bridal section is all set up at Athreya. And, carpe diem, my daughter happened to be the first bride to make her entry for the design and stitch.
Well handled, guided and designed to utmost satisfaction of the customer, me and my daughter, Eashwari - our designer assigned at Athreya, Nungambakkam, patiently and empathetically travelled with us for the last month and a half, providing us utmost satisfaction inside out. Do try out the bridal readymade designs as well.
Eashwari at Athreya, ask for her, for your customised designs. A smile she never fails to carry, through the travel is something one has to witness and experience.

Worst experience ever. I had given my blouse with specific instructions and they delivered it on October 11th, but it wasn’t as per what was agreed. They said they would fix it and promised delivery by October 22nd, which kept getting delayed - first due to their own delays and then because of Diwali holidays.
Finally, on November 4th, when they told me the blouse was ready and I went to pick it up, they casually mentioned that one of the agreed specifications wasn’t done because they didn’t have enough fabric. This was their own mistake - they had already discarded the extra fabric without even informing me.
They did send the blouse later tonight as a parcel, but after so much escalation. Extremely careless, unprofessional, and frustrating experience. I would never recommend this place.

Overall a good experience. I had recently visited Athreya and gave a blouse for stitching from scratch. They gave sensible design suggestions and got the fit almost perfect except for a small issue which was corrected immediately.
Overall, I’d recommend Athreya. Only drawback is, they can reduce customer wait time.

Eashwari was the best designer. She was very patient and very meticulous about choosing diffrent designs that would suit me and making sure the final outcome is perfect.
