I recently got a blouse stitched from Ashtag, and I must say I’m genuinely impressed with the outcome! I had just given a measurement blouse from my end! The fit is absolutely perfect, something I honestly did not expect from a remotely tailored blouse.
The craftsmanship, comfort, and finish are outstanding. It looks incredibly smart and elegant while also being very comfortable to wear, which is such a rare combination.
A big thanks to Rukmini and the entire team for doing such an amazing job. I’m truly in love with how it has turned out!
I will definitely be coming back to Ashtag for all my future blouses. Highly recommended!

I’ve had the privilege of getting my blouses done for two weddings back to back in Dec 2025 and Feb 2026 . Rukmini’s got the best crew on board when it comes to blouse design and delivery . The fitting is perfect and got several compliments from family and friends during both the weddings :) I was on a time crunch for both the weddings with travelling under a week to Chennai , they still took the time to understand my needs patiently and provide the best looking and fitted blouse for all
the events .I will vouch for their quality ,fit and service anytime ! Way to go team Rukmini! Special mention to Divya , Malathy and others on the team !

I got my blouse stitched with AshTag and I must say the experience was very pleasant and smooth. Loved the fitting and the timely service. I’d given a Kota fabric, which is tricky in itself but the stitching was so seamless and great! Looking forward to getting more stitched from you guys!♥️

There are many other designers around if you dig more. They made me cry for a blouse just a day before wedding. I got my blouse only at the last moment irrespective of giving it two months prior. I had to go more than 3 times for fitting even then it was not proper. They gave me an old blouse at first which was hanging there for months ( which I believe if only God knows) , also whoever owns the studio made us wait and had discussed for hours and hours on the design yet the outcome was not the same, may be it was an already stitched blouse or may be they just do what they want to do. and was told it's new.. then they agreed to stitch me a new one as I was not okay with taking an old one that too with extra cost for the two blouses because I was so desperate and was unable to find a new one within few days before wedding. Please do reconsider before spending months of hard earned money here, not just that but at a price of stress and mental health on a bride? Not so great! . I'm not sure if they do this for all or only few. I was happy with one of my engagement blouses thats why trusted on wedding blouse too but my bad.! This review may or may not help others but I had to do to let go of what happened to me.
Review 2: As you responded, firstly I'm going to get nothing by falsifying what had happened. Secondly you and I both know if or if not you have asked to pay extra on the second blouse ( I was desperate to find another tailer and you agreed to stitch one more if I paid extra I don't want to mention the amount iykyk nothing came for free but you told I get one more blouse as if I'm getting one for free have I not paid for it ?..here we both know there's no charity running). I'm not saying you didn't do your best work I'm only reacting to what was happened to me.

We’re sorry that you’ve chosen to FALSIFY the situation so drastically. While we understand emotions run high before a wedding, it’s UNFAIR and frankly irresponsible — to suggest things that simply didn’t happen.
Let’s set the record straight:
1.No “old” blouse was ever handed over - The blouse in question was custom-made based on the design and measurements we discussed. The fabric used came directly from the saree you provided a fact that is easily verifiable. We even showed you CCTV footage of your blouse being processed in our production unit. Suggesting otherwise without clarification is misleading.
2.There was no additional charge for the new blouse - We only requested payment for the original blouse that was already made. The replacement blouse was offered completely free of cost, and this was communicated transparently — to which you had agreed.
3.Regarding your wait to meet me - It’s important to clarify that no prior appointment was scheduled. January 25th also happens to be my wedding anniversary — a day when no appointments were being accepted. Despite my absence, our entire team was present and continued offering assistance throughout the day.
4.You chose us again based on trust - This was your second time working with us, following a positive experience with your engagement blouse. You returned not by chance, but through strong referrals and appreciation for our previous work. We’ve never compelled anyone to place an order; we believe in earning trust through what we deliver. Every client and every rupee holds equal value to us, and we treat all orders — regardless of scale with the same level of care and commitment.
We’re always open to constructive feedback and willing to take responsibility wherever it’s due. However, we cannot accept baseless accusations or misrepresented narratives.
We handle dozens of brides each season, and situations like this are truly the exception. Our consistent track record of craftsmanship, client satisfaction, and accountability speaks for itself.

Very bad service. i have never experienced such a poor service from anywhere. For my wedding i have given my saree and blouse stitching to them. My second wedding saree they have completely ruined my saree and my day. They stitched the falls for the saree in up side down. Which was a total collapse on my day. I won’t recommend this place to anyone. Even one of my blouse they didn’t stitch properly. Don’t go with Instagram promotions. With my experience am writing this.

Got my sister's and mother's blouses done from them for Diwali . They are very happy with the fitting , thanks to the owner Rukmini for expediting the order and getting it to us quickly . The bill was a bit expensive but totally worth it !

Ashika is very particular about the fittings and the overall tailoring quality is exceptional! I am quite finicky about things like pattern matching, wearability and comfort, and seam quality. Without having to tell her anything at all, she ensured all three! Like ensuring that the belt loops on my pants match the print perfectly, including a little bit of elasticity on the back of the pants, getting the bust right on a dress made of very stiff material, etc. She also made an old dress (no longer fits) into a skirt.

I was introduced to Ashtag Sewing by Lakshmi Boutique Anandhi. From then, be it customized blouses, salwars or designer dresses Ashika is my go to person. From tradional to trending designs she will give you a plenty of options at reasonable price point. They suggest you lot of options for patterns and designs.
The quality of all pattern blouse and designer blouse are top notch.. I would have stitched around 30 to 40 blouses from them and I have zero complaints so far. The fitting, finishing are just perfect and neat. I love each and every dress I got stitched from them.

I was searching for good tailoring shop in and around Ashok Nager, very friendly and timely delivery . Normal blouse and chudi will be given in 3-4 days. Rate is high compared to other Tailor's but the work worth for. Now have become a regular client there.Worth the try people when you spend so much on materials. It's best tailor shop in our locality
