Avoid like a plague unless you love wasting money and have several weeks to wait and have to find another tailor to fix what was messed up. Extreme delays and commitments not met. Even delays can be tolerated citing labor issues,however poor quality of work after being charged is inexcusable! (Photos of unevenly finished pants attached as proof). If there was a zero rating that would've been more appropriate.

Bought an expensive trouser of a biggervsize that i could not returnn. Re stitch did a terrific job of alteration and savaging the purchase. Very professional in their process, prompt. Strongly recommend.

Best and one of its kind in the city. I have been using their services for past 5 plus years. They do anything and everything perfectly when it comes to alterations. You tell what you want, they will do it. Amazing. Happy that I found them.

A great service that's run by a few ladies. They specialize in alterations and hence the name. Its a bit difficult to find, however get to Luz corner and the store is walkable. Jean alterations to darning and everything in between. Very professional, nothing to fault. For a fraction of the cost of new clothes, give your old clothes a fresh new lease of life, and of course save the environment!

I was looking for a place where Jeans are altered and altered properly and found this place. Wanted to give it a try and gave 3 jeans for alteration. I am really really happy with the results. Alteration was done properly and those fit me really well.
Popular in Mylapore but bit expensive though. Is it worth spending more here ? Answer is a definite Yes.
Prices differ for kind of alteration you want. Jeans can go upto a maximum of 200 and Shirt upto 150.
Please make sure you call them before collecting back, given clothes.

One of its kind in Chennai. Reliable, Affordable. Not easy to locate at a quick glance as there is huge residential complex at the entrance. Have a look at the name board and you can find the shop. Closed in the noon for lunch break.

You can get both men and women's dresses altered here. Having no clue of where to get a couple of jeans altered, I found this place via Google search. Though the measurements were taken, not all was done properly. Had to give 5 out of the 9 back again for the second time. Hoping that I shouldn't be going again for the third time. The minimum charge for alterations is 100/- .
I visited this place 4-5 visits post first alteration as it wasn't either done properly or wasn't altered at all.

I had a really good experience with Re-stick point. Approached them to get my pair of jeans to get stitched and they did a quick and wonderful job. Highly recommended.

Went for Jean's size alteration . Gave 7 jeans for alteration and thy did a perfect job. Took 1 week and delivered on time. RS.200 per alteration.

The only place in Chennai for altering clothes. Slightly disappointed since I have had alterations done in different places in different cities. They don't do blouse and blazers. They do not work on all materials either. Charges are minimal though. Finishing isn't that great and found signs of careless handling like blue ink on white dress and cloth torn in areas altered. Just lower your expectations and enter.

They don't seem to have enough tailors. The owner said so himself, and this is leading to a huge backlog. Be prepared to wait for much longer than the specified date, even for small alterations.

This shop is marked as permanently closed in Google. But it is not. The shop is functioning in the same address as mentioned in the Google. Also their landline phone is active and reachable. I would suggest u to make a call and go there as they used to close shops in the afternoon.

I am a regular customer of this facility for restitching of clothes for about 3decades.They do very good work at reasonable charges.Credit goes to late G N Rao& sons(Luz corner)who own the shop.Quality workmanship.

Unprofessional. clothes were never ready on given time twice and had to go again. Despite that the work done was not only poor but unfinished. A blazer given for length reduction came back without hamming. A skirt for simple fold came with bad uneven finish and could not be used.
