These are the following things I LOVED about Kavi Aari & Tailoring Institute :
1. Kavi Akka is very patient, clear and friendly in teaching beginners. She gives us all the time to learn every step in detail.
2. Well drafted notes/ diagrams and measurements are given for each design we stitch.
3. Kavi Akka has finished her education from IIT and is super talented and focused in many art forms.
4. The fees is very nominal. There is one to one attention given to each student and doubts are clarified immediately.
5. It is a super friendly and safe environment, where you are valued as a good friend and not just a student. Every student looks forward for their next visit to the institute. It is a happy place for everyone!
6. I had joined the course for a short duration due to my travel dates. But in this duration Akka taught me how to stitch -
Chudidar , Chudidar with lining,
Kaftan (Arabian style) ,
Patiala pant, Palazzo pant,
Baby Chudidar dress, Designer baby frock,
Overcoats , Eid party wear

It was an amazing experience. They teach everything related to the subject, and they keep encouraging you when you feel like the stuff is going wrong or this type of stitching doesn't come to me. They teach according to the understanding of the students, even if things do not go according to the scheduled plan. It is a good place to start or learn the basics of tailoring.
