Beads Adyar

Came across Beads on a random search and I am so glad I did. I was apprehensive about getting my sari blouses stitched here since it was my first time here, and surprisingly they didn’t disappoint. Anandhi, a kind and friendly staff helped in taking measurements and the tailors have done a splendid job. Neat job on the whole and I am hopeful of getting all my requirements tailored to satisfaction at Beads, Adyar. Will definitely recommend this place.

I did search for good blouse stitching place in Adyar and stumbled upon this and based on reviews, I decided to give it a try though still being skeptical. So gave one blouse as a trial and was very happy with that one then ended up giving all my blouses & my daughter's lehenga blouse. All were done perfectly with a very minimal alteration on lehenga blouse which was adjusted gladly & handed over the next day. This is my go-to place now to stitch blouses and only improvement needed is on time delivery of the blouse as mine was delayed by one day (which is not a big deal). Ananthi and two other ladies were very helpful in taking measurements and attending to us.

I have been stitching here for more than 2 years. Embroidery work done on my blouse was beautiful and elegant. Value for money. Fitting is perfect.. Staffs and owner of the boutique are very helpful in customising the dresses. Happy with the services. They have a good collection of sarees and dress materials as well. Highly recommend this place.

Had a blouse and salwar suit done. Blouse fit was moderate, the salwar top was unfinished by hemming and the needle and thread were there. Even after waiting for a month this is the service we get. Probably they have regular customers who give them business in bulk, in that case they shouldn't be encouraging new customers. While asking about the needle n thread they did not even stop to reply and gave a reckless apology for a name sake. While giving clothes to stitch , they wanted me to buy lining because they were busy but charged me for that aswell. Later reduced after reminding that I bought the lining clothes. Bad customer service

Great embroidery work and it is gorgeous. They personally called and showed me lot of designs and discussed patterns that best suits me. GOOD STITCHING, VALUE FOR MONEY, TIMELY DELIVERY. Beads has been my go to place for happy clothing. Perfect stitching . And if by any chance the stitching has issues, they immediately rectify it but never spoil dresses . Pricing is in par with other just tailoring units and is reasonable for a boutique . Mrs sijina, the owner is very friendly and takes utmost care of the specifications and customises according to the customers choice and comfort. The staff are very friendly, polite and efficient. They know their work well . If we go to them with any fit issues or alteration, they know exactly where and how to correct it without messing the rest. The fabrics given for stitching are handled with good care and never tampered. The place is very well maintained, it is well ventilated and has Trail room too. They get the dresses ready on the time they were agreed for and in case of any delay or change, they call well ahead to ask if the delay is ok and mention when they can get the clothes ready. On the whole they have simplified my clothing shopping hassle . Very happy with the service . 😍

Beads is a wonderful place to explore. The collection is varied and elegant hand picked pieces. The staff are friendly and courteous. The boutique owner who is a designer herself is very talented. She exudes warmth and her friendly disposition makes you comfortable. Her designs are elegant and intricate while being subtle. The embroidery and thread work is very artistic. Each trip to Beads is a delightful experience 👍😀

Very rude behavior by the owner. She was hesitant in taking up the order in first place. Doesn't provide you suggestions. Rather says, it's not possible to stitch the way we ask. Worst customer service. Do not go by the store setup. Indeed, the customers will bring in lots of wishes and thoughts. But it's the designer who's responsible to guide them what would better suit the fabric they bring and provide alternatives. Merely saying a 'No' is possible even by any roadside tailors. And btw it's not my first time visit to your store. Customers should be treated better is my thought. Customers are treated as if we are coming in for a free of cost service done.

Found them on Google and decided to give it a shot. I had multiple outfits that were not as cut and dry as just a standard blouse or kurta. I had three custom made outfits made here. Right from the start they were extremely professional and extensive in their approach. It was a breath of fresh air since the last 4 tailors I'd been to really ruined my clothes. Ms. Sijina understood my ideas and improved upon them where necessary, and delivered a really well made set of clothes. If i were to put a label on these clothes they would look like ready mades. I was a little unhappy with a pair of dhoti pants that I'd asked for, even though it was slightly delayed they had me come in and get it altered and fit the way I wanted it to be. I was really stressed out but they reassured me that it would be done and they made good on their word. The dhoti came out looking really nice in the end. All my alterations were done super fast and with finesse. Very happy with the clothes I had made here. This is the first time in a long time that stitching outfits has been a breezy experience. Had a 'readymade saree' made at Beads and it is absolutely gorgeous. So if you're someone who loves sarees but don't have the patience to tie one, these guys can custom make a zip up saree that fits beautifully. It really felt like everyone that works there wants to do their job well rather than get you out of the store as quickly as possible. They were very helpful with my concerns and made sure I was leaving only after i got exactly what I wanted. Will definitely come back here for all my stitching work.

I have been going to Beads with my mother for as long as I can remember. Shijina aunty is very friendly and is always interested to try new different styles. The dresses I've had stitched from Beads always end up being my favorite clothes because of how well they fit and the great finish. The staff at Beads are also very friendly and you get an overall very satisfactory experience.

The most professional, best and comfortable place to stitch blouses, salwar etc has been Beads for me. All the bridal blouses stitched by them was so unique that it totally matched my point of view. To be precise this is the very first place where stitching for me became more than perfect. There are many things that matters on a wedding day and the one thing is blouse embroidery work, that must matche our saree pattern apart from fitting. They have given me that. 200% Happy customer. I have always had good experience here but the last time I was witness to the worst workmanship one can display. Despite giving feedback, there was zero effort to change. Pricing and quality are absolutely polar. You will pay a bomb for something that fits worse than off street clothing. There were buttons but no loop for bra straps. Sleeves are of different lengths. Do yourself a favor and just walk on by. Never coming back and persuading everyone I know to just steer clear.

I have been a regular customer of Beads for the past 12 years. Excellent design and stitching for both salwars and blouses. Shijina and her team have always been very friendly, transparent and they deliver what they promise. I have been buying salwar materials from them ever since they introduced fabrics. They have a unique collection and I have always recieved compliments for my dresses. Highly recommended.

For d last 14 years Beads has been my go to place for classy casual/regular wear. Lovely collection of choicest fabrics nd I must say Sijina has an eye for details when it comes to styling them. I've been going to Beads for many years now.. And was sure that I wanted to look no where else, when it came to my wedding blowses! Needless to say, they delivered as always :) This particular time involved a lot of close co-ordination as I was not in Chennai and had to get it done remote, so special mention to the lovely people at Beads - Jayanthi ma'am, Rekha and Ananthi ma'am .
