I had an extremely disturbing and unprofessional experience with Avantra’s blouse stitching service (handled through their outsourced tailor from Shringar, Anna Nagar).
I gave them my blouse material along with a sample blouse for reference. The person who collected my order, *KAVYA* behaved in a very uncomfortable and inappropriate manner, repeatedly touching and rubbing the padded area of my blouse while making unnecessary comments about the “soft pad” and saying they would charge extra for it. The behaviour itself felt creepy and highly unprofessional.
Despite agreeing to the additional charges and paying in full, the real shock came during pickup. They had carelessly torn my sample blouse, removed the pad from it, and returned it in a damaged condition without any pad (pic attached) Who damages a customer’s personal sample blouse and returns it like that?
This shows zero respect for customers or their belongings. The workmanship, ethics, and professionalism are absolutely unacceptable. Handling garments carelessly and returning them torn is beyond negligence.
Their owner- KAVITHA (who failed to pick our calls) had zero accountability C Very cheap service standards, extremely uncomfortable staff behaviour, and complete lack of accountability. I would strongly advise everyone to stay away from this place.

Everyone here is so warm and welcoming. I trusted Kavitha akka, and she never disappointed me she truly made my day. I’ll definitely be booking her for all my family functions. Highly recommended!Their work truly shows in the fit — it was absolutely perfect with no alterations needed. The blouse was neatly finished, perfectly ironed, and handed over with such care. Even though it was closing time, the staff never showed any hurry or discomfort. Everyone was polite, kind, and genuinely heart-warming. The craftsmanship and service together made the entire experience exceptional.

Kavitha runs a very tight ship, her store will give you your dream alterations and creations. My sister and I were able to design our sari blouses and get it ready to wear (pre-pleated) within 2 days. Staff works hard to understand and support your creative vision. We drove over two hours to this boutique and was worth it!

I was referred here by my frnd for stitching my engagement blouse. I had given one trial blouse and my engagement blouse. They ask for your budget and your idea of aari work that you want to do. Kavitha mam is excellent in suggestions and she tried her best to fit everything we ask for in our budget. She made note of all the details I have given her and delivered exactly what I wanted. Stitched another Blouse with them for the reception. Loved their work again and would choose them over and over again. Loved the cutest S and J lettered tassels. Without a doubt they deliver what you require with utmost keen and attention.

Probably the worst tailoring and embroidery service I have ever come across. I provided them with my measurements, but they took the liberty of altering them according to their own standards. To make matters worse, they performed a makeshift patchwork and attempted to pass it off to me without disclosing the shoddy work. Upon reaching home, the embroidery had completely come undone, revealing just how incomplete the work was. Upon contacting them about this, they insisted on a picture of the issue. After sending it, they ignored my calls and refused to communicate further. Despite the poor service and incomplete work, they charged me 6.5k. They have no regard for customer satisfaction and are solely focused on making money. This experience was a complete waste of time and money.

Such a terrible experience! Kavitha Anbazhagan and Kala Rani completely ruined my wedding blouse.kept my saree like garbage and its consists of stain ..I'm repeating,it’s my wedding blouse. They wasted two of my blouses— one is a complete misfit, and the other was ruined during ironing. Both ladies made numerous excuses and were not true to their work. I spent more on travel than the cost of the blouses, which shows how badly I was treated. Both ladies left the shop when I arrived and did not answer my calls multiple times. After numerous calls and discussions, I finally received my refund. Don’t waste your time and money at all!

Worst tailoring ever. Even basic blouse stitching was horrible. Without any patterns and just for a small simple puffed sleeve they charged 2k per blouse and for 5 blouses around 10k. They start by saying 950 per blouse and keep adding extras and extras and bring it to 2k. They don't do any ironing while handing it over and they just hand it over in some trash covers. Besides this while we wait , they pass on unnecessary comments and overall a horrible experience and absolute waste of money. Purposely they turn off the AC. Nasty women. Never have I ever visited a third rated boutique like this.
My question to the owner - When I was waiting in the store you were scolding one of your employees that she took her workplace for granted and she kept on chatting with someone over phone. What makes you deliver such poor quality products in the most horrible way after charging heavily ? Why did you take me as a customer for granted. No other boutique compromises on the neatness while delivery even if there are fitting issues. What quality check do you maintain while delivering an item ? Delivering all the blouses and sarees in trash bags like soiled clothes ? Where was Ms.Kavitha during all our visits to the store ?

This boutique is located in anna nagar roundtana upstairs to neerus. Their interior is splendid with good amount of their in-house collections - blouse/salwar/lehanga. I was warm-welcomed by 'Bharathi'. She's such a customer friendly, quick responsive and soft spoken girl. I was advised this place by my friend and I was completely satisfied with the stitching. The fit was perfect and very comfortable. Pricing is also decent enough. Kudos to whole team of tailor master ji, assistant girl, bharathi and Kavitha maam. Wish you all success & keep up the good work!!!

I have given first time for my blouse stiching ..my back hook blouse looks bend .. when I saw in front of mirror after returning home ..and hook stiching also not perfect. . Don't know what the girl was seeing when she was putting the hook for me . My husband only showed me the bend stiching what the tailor has done .

I brought to this store some silk clothes to make lehengas, anarkali and some kurti. Within one week they were able to make 6 clothes, the managers are friendly and the young girls are very patient and receptive to the enquiries buy they need to be more careful on following the instructions especially for the measurements, for me was an ok job done, for the timing and the amount of instructions.
