Disappointed with the service provided by vivek tailor. Uniform has been ordered and paid full amount 6 weeks back and still the parcel is not delivered.
I have called and followed up multiple times with them and also informed about school start date, but i dnt see any action taken by them, its only one day left for school to start and there is no uniform.
Hope schools will give option to get the stitch done by another tailor , i stead of struggling after paying such huge charges.

Every time I come here to buy, they have very differential treatment for certain school branches. If you are not going to cater certain school branches then put a damn list for your non-serviceable school branches, don’t treat your customers rudely because believe me nobody needs the attitude! Never coming here to buy and get humiliated just for giving them business.

The experience felt disappointing mainly because of the attitude. Customers came because of the school’s recommendation, yet the communication was arrogant and disrespectful. No business should treat customers as if they are being commanded instead of served professionally. Basic professionalism and work ethics should also be learned along with tailoring( The review is especially for the lady who does the billing- Indira nagar branch)

I purchased school uniform from vivek Apparel, got it by porter, and they gave me a shirt which was already used and returned. Upon request to replace it they refused blatantly and arrogantly.
Everytime there is disappointment while purchasing a peice a uniform from them.

Great example of miss management and chaos, they don't answer phone n website is down for more than weeks. People waiting in queue for long hours just to hear them saying uniform are not in stock. School are responsible for creating monopoly and lobbying.

For the past three years, I've been unhappy with their service; there are terrible seating arrangements, too many people, bad management, and really rude people, especially the woman at the front.I guess she must be the owner.Before reading the reviews, I thought I was the only parent who had experienced this, but I found that a lot of other parents felt the same way. People will eventually approach the school administration if this continues.Their association with the institution does not allow them to continue in this manner.We are paying for the service, so nobody is doing us any favors, Additionally, even I do feel that they are overpriced.

I recently purchased a shirt and a pair of shorts from Vivek Tailor. The color of the shorts appeared slightly dull, and I inquired if they had a better piece, as it looked like old stock. I was told it was new. Reluctantly, I went ahead and bought it.
Shortly after, I visited Hitesh Creation, just a short walk away, and found better-looking shorts there — at a price that was 20% lower than Vivek Tailor’s. I returned to Vivek Tailor to return the shorts, but they refused and mentioned they only offer exchanges. I accepted that and requested a shirt instead of another pair of shorts.
However, upon learning that I had found something at Hitesh Creation, they refused to let me exchange the shorts for a shirt and insisted on "shorts for shorts" only. The older lady at the counter was especially rude and dismissive, speaking in a tone that made me feel my concerns didn’t matter.
Overall, their claim of offering better quality doesn't match the reality, especially given the higher price point and unprofessional behavior. I was quite disappointed with both the product and the customer service experience.

The contact numbers provided doesn't get answered and the website is most of the time under maintenance. I have been trying to contact them to know the status of the order for last two days and have no clue how to reach them without visiting their store.

Being the official suppliers for school uniforms for the NPS group of schools for decades, it is sad to see the store is still like a shack in a small house. It is invariably crowded with parents and kids stuffed into a small room, and crowds spilling out onto the road outside during school reopening season! It is high time they used all the money earned to make a proper outlet to cater to the crowds and make shopping for school uniforms a pleasant experience for parents!

Very poor quality of materials for TISB uniform compared to alternatives such as Allied Outfitter. Fleece jacket felt like cotton jacket. Track pants felt like thin plastic sheet. Way Overpriced. No returns. Exchange with lot of fuss and limited to same thing, so shirt for shirt. Lot of attitude in front desk ladies.

Rather than wasting time of hundreds of parents, it would do good if they set up a stall at the school and complete the formalities at one convenient place. Why should people stand in long queues under scorching sun? And in Corona times, at least 40-50 people are squeezed into a small house converted shop. Irresponsible staff with very casual approach. They keep saying 'no stock'. If they cannot estimate the volumes of uniform required, they need deep introspection. Inconvenient timing as well since they operate till 4 pm and turn away people even though they come from long way. They talk as though they are doing us favor inspite of providing low quality school uniform at gold price. Purely money minded. To top it all, they never pick the call. It keeps ringing. Pathetic experience.

Vivek Tailors is the best place in town for low-quality readymade uniforms, sold at expensive rates amid total operational chaos. Everything is unnecessarily delayed and chaotic from crowd management, queue system, customer interaction during the actual buying process, and billing. It may be because everyone there is inept at solving these problems, or maybe because they don't care as this is the go-to place for uniforms for many schools nearby. Their timings are also unfriendly. They close by afternoon and are not open on Sundays.
This time, to make things worse, they promptly made their website offline during this peak season to prevent customers from ordering online. I am sure they did it to avoid helping customers order online as it's only their home page that is down; every other page, including the order page, is working fine. But I don't have the guts to order when they claim their website is down. Very avoidable vendor if you know of better places for uniforms.

Update after an year
However when I visited this time it was absolute chaos, people were in the queue for 2 hours. Even if you don't require alteration or size check , you need to wait for 2 hours

Dress quality is worst and prices are sky-high, when complaint about it they say check your washing machine!! Staff behavior is rude, mostly out of stock, if you buy online from their website which is mostly not working they will make you regret it when you need to exchange. No proper parking space...
Only one good thing they have trial rooms.

We have always been buying uniforms from here and the quality is great. The staff are very friendly and owner personally ensures that correct size is recommended. This time when we went, we also observed how well the Covid protocol was followed.

I have never seen Such a horrible place,, they don’t know how to manage the crowd and to know whether the stock is available or not we have to stand in a big queue ,, there quality of uniforms are also not so good inspite of it I don’t know why they show so much of attitude,,, when compare to mickey and Minnie they are worst in management, quality and everything !!! I don’t want to give even a star but I have to post my reviews that’s why ….

We went today at around 11am. Initially we thought it's closed as gate was closed but soon we realized, it's open through another entrance. There was not much waiting time as the crowd was not much. They are very organized and had also trail rooms inside which is very thoughtful planned. Parking can be an issue but you can find it in one of the roads nearby. Overall, we are out of the shop in 30 mins.

Absolute mess and mismanagement by NPS. Never have seen a school managing the uniform distribution in such a pathetic way. They make all branch students and parents to visit this place to buy the uniform. This place is just a small 2bhk house with no room for more than 5-6 people at a time while they are squeezing more than 25 people in most unhygienic conditions. You'll be made to stand in hot sun for hours only to know that not all items are in stock. Inside its all chaos and no one has clue what's happening. Who the hell travels all the way to indiranagar multiple times to collect the uniform!! (only god and the management knows how they have planned this.)

Pathetic experience. Not available over phone, doesn't respond to whatsapp messages. Not giving a clarity on when items shall be in stock. They are unable to meet the demands of school uniforms. School should definitely look for multiple different vendors who are easily approachable.

Absolutely bad ... I do not understand why NPS has tied up with such shops ... Absolutely no sense of clothes and they send whatever they have and not what the customer requirement is . We ordered for 4 brown pant and 2 white pant , what they sent was 5 brown pants and 1 white pants . After which the stock got over . The cloth given for pants shirts and sweaters are pathetically low quality after two wash boblings have started to come out from clothes . The clothes are nylon mixed which during summers is hot ...child really suffers !!! ... The charges are exhorbitant . Minting money and giving low quality product is a no no .

Total unprofessional Tailor, not sure how schools like NPS tie up with this Tailor, they don’t respond phone calls and short staffed throughout the year , they don’t respect parents or children time. They operate from 9:30 Am to 4:00 Pm , totally inconvenient for parents to pickup the school uniform. Please be prepared to spend 2-3 hours of your day at grossly mismanaged place.

Very unfriendly lady who is doing billing . Gave me socks of different size with same number and telling me that child has pulled one pair of socks( upto same length what a joke). When I showed her the difference from the heal she said very carelessly that it doesn't matter that one pair is small and one pair is large ( yes sure because it our hard earned money not yours)
In the same way gave two frock with unequal size obviously with the same number and was showing me the number and the other measurements. She might have told the same thing if uniform were stretchable but unfortunately it was not so, she has to make it right.
And what a great liar she is, workers are making uniform in the same house and she is telling me that these are made in factory. My advise is:
Never rely on their number just check each and every piece you are buying.
Buy only uniform not accessories like socks slip or inner wear.

When u start a bussiness learn to treat your customers well. You are taking money from us and giving us the things and its not free of cost stuff you are giving ....learn to talk and behave ... The shop have a small space which is not our problem...plan the infrastructure properly .The 2 ladies are horrible management skill and just showing as though they are some body very great ...completely useless...moreover 700 rs for pant and it becomes bad after 1 wash ....u guys can check

Horrible experience to say the least and I would blame NPS more than Vivek tailors for this mess.
Literally taking parents and students for granted.
Had to stand under hot sun for 2 hours and in the end you get an uniform that does not fit at all.
They could have dispatched the material instead.

About the payment mode, as mentioned earlier there are many ways that you can pay including Paytm, IMPS, mobile payment like whatsapp or phone pe, NEFT/Bank Transfers, UPI and cash. We do not have a card swiping machine during the off season.

The only problem I have is that they do not accept cards. And every time you go there, you spend enough that would be more than what you carry in cash. They have a card swiping machine but will always tell you that the machine is not working! No parking space as well.

It is most certainly there during the summer holidays. Alternatively, lot of other options like Paytm, IMPS, NEFT etc are available. And yes, parking spaces in the surroundings have reduced over the years, but it is still not very scarce. However, that is some problem that everyone is searching a solution for!
