Fabulous experience I had in a day. I have literally fixed this place for myself for my future stitching needs...
One day, I had given 3 blouses for stitching in the afternoon and they were so professional in taking measurements and suggesting different blouse designs. They also were kind enough to accompany me to another store to buy extra laces for a design i wanted for one blouse. I then received my blouses the same evening. I never knew this was possible until my colleagues suggested to go to commercial street.
Very professional and go to place for all our stitching needs especially when there is a wardrobe emergency...
The beautifully stitched perfect fitting blouses, falls and pallu knots for all 3 saris made me look absolutely stunning for my marriage and other functions.
I Absolutely recommended this place for anyone who's looking for any kind of tailoring and perfect fit stitches.

Excellent experience. Courteous owners. We had bought fabric nearby and were hoping to get clothes done before leaving. They gave us an accurate deadline and were able to replicate the designs I wanted (9 pieces total). They even took pictures of the designs. Measurements were accurate. Be aware it is on the other side of the street, look up as the sign is visible!!

I am honestly SO IMPRESSED!
I reached out to them about two blouses that I needed stitched last minute. They responded immediately through WhatsApp and said they could complete the work by the next day. LESS THAN 24 hours! I expected something simple but they were able to add embroidery and other details to the blouses. They will be perfect for my wedding. Additionally they were the best fitting blouses I’ve ever had! No additional alterations were needed and it had lovely details like a button to ensure a bra strap doesn’t show.
They were also able to add tassels to my saree fall AND adjusted a ready-made blouse that I bought that didn’t fit well.
The staff were so lovely and helpful and I will always come back to them for any future tailor need!

I have been getting my blouses and other tailored material stitched here for quite a few months now and my experience with them has been very good. Pricing is reasonable, the time taken is justified too and any alterations are done instantly which is great. I even got my bridal blouse stitched here and it came out very good.

Absolutely terrible experience. They charged ₹1100 just for stitching a simple salwar, and the service was shockingly bad. They completely ruined my expensive dress, careless work with zero accountability.
Don’t be fooled by the ratings here like I was. This place is nowhere near worth the money or the stress. There are far better, more reliable tailors in Commercial Street who actually respect their customers and their clothes.
What’s worse, when I visited, I saw multiple other customers who were equally disappointed and frustrated. It honestly makes you question how this place has so many positive reviews in the first place.
Save your money, your time, and your outfit and avoid this place at all costs.

I did my bridal trousseau with them, and they are so professional and so good! The punjabi salwars and the blouse fittings were spot on! I got all of them delivered on time and their creativity is pretty solid! A definite recommend!

They could not even make a School dress of my daughter. For 11 yr girl 2pair of dress stiching cost me whopping 4400. After that no zipper on skirt, clips coming out, shirt has no back pleet, skirt has no backrum cloth on waist, shirt stiched wrong size. Do not reccomend this store

Blouses were stitched with bad quality lining without prewash. It was a mistake to get expensive kanchi silk saree blouse here. Due to summer sweat red colour got discolored on the blouse and a white blouse worn after this during wedding got red coloured because of this. Such a bad experience getting stitched from here. Owners are not even prompt to accept the mistake. Never ever get stitched from here.

Our experience with P M Rao Ladies Dress Maker was deeply disappointing. From the start, their service felt inattentive. Despite their advertisement of a "1-hour delivery," this promise proved entirely unrealistic, as it took days—and even multiple visits—to complete a single dress. Each time we returned, faced issues with the fitting, which were not resolved despite the detailed feedback. The stitching was visibly off, with the measurements far from what was required, resulting in a dress that was tight in some areas and loose in others. This lack of precision and poor attention to detail made the entire process frustrating and exhausting.
The final result didn't match the vision I had shared, nor did it reflect any of the quality or professionalism I expected from a custom tailoring experience. What was meant to be a straightforward service became a drawn-out struggle, leaving me feeling undervalued as a customer. If you are looking for reliable, quality workmanship with a realistic timeline, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Very disappointed with PM Rao Ladies Dressmaker. I clearly confirmed delivery by 2 PM before giving my dress because I had a function, but today they suddenly said it will only be ready by 6 PM. What’s worse was the unprofessional response and no accountability for the delay. Please don’t promise timelines you can’t keep.
