Our cab driver took us to this shop saying it's good for phulkari materials at reasonable prices. But we found that prices were on higher side; still believing that quality would be good. But even that wasnt true. Totally misleading/ cheating customers. They promised to stitch and send the dresses in 2-3 hours. We had finished shopping at 2 pm and the tailor sent the stitched dresses at 11 pm in the night that too after calling to remind him / shop keeper at least 10 times. When we tried on the dresses the fitting was horrible. Even the lining they use is transparent & worst quality. One of the material was already frayed/ torn on the sleeve. It was too late to go back as we were to leave Amritsar early next morning. So stuck with poorly made dresses of low quality now. Avoid this shop & dont get anything stitched from them. Its a total waste of money. While selling, the salesperson keeps constantly talking and keeping you engaged to buy more and makes all claims which are not correct at all.

Conscientious service and every effort made even though my Punjabi very little - am looking forward to receiving pieces/ suits when back in England UK - tailor amenable to adapting and altering exactly as I wanted. For me these are investment pieces and I already have much joy in wearing to Amritsar Literary Festival and many compliments. Also lovely to support family business.

Last week I visited this shop the sales man and owner every one was very good and polite purchased around 11 suit than realised that they prices are very high than market price I have check all this suits from another shop of amritsar the price were very low so kindly request don't trust any one blindly plz visit 2 to 3 shops than purchase.. When I asked the owner how can u do it He said our quality is different from others so rate are high .same suit same quality another shop is giving in 1300 he is selling in 2250 around. Worst experience

This shop has a wide variety of phulkari dupattas, sarees, dress materials and other winter wear. Apart from phulkari, you can find outfits with other embroideries such as aari stitch, katha stitch, etc. The quality of fabric and the embroidery is of superior quality and very neatly made. The product range is so wide that once you enter the shop you probably cannot leave without buying 😊 The entire staff of the shop is polite and they do not get tired of showing the products until you finally choose. Price range is also very reasonable considering the quality of products they sell. You can try bargaining as well. You may find phulkaris all around Amritsar but the quality of this shop is of first grade. Do not hesitate to visit this shop when you are in Amritsar.

I ended up purchasing 20 suits in total for myself, family, and friends, and also got around 10 suits stitched. The stitching quality and fitting were perfect, exactly as discussed. What impressed me the most was their efficiency—everything was completed and delivered to my home in Mumbai within just 3 days, which is remarkable. Hats off to Sukhbirji for having such a fantastic customer centric approach. This is a place where once you step in, it's very unlikely you will be left out by the employees without buying something you like. Good collection, more for ladies. Though there is something for men as well. They stitch clothes and courier to your place. Was apprehensive if the stitching would turn out well, but they did a fantastic job. It's a one stop shop.

I went to this shop seeing the Google reviews but my experience was really horrible.. I wonder as a tourist whether I can trust this city? The sales person was so irritating and after giving multiple signals that I am not interested in his non-stop talk and I need peace of mind to select my dress he didn't stop. I really don't need any guidance while shopping and I told him multiple times. But his constant blabbering gave me headache.and then they insisted that I should get it stiched today only in their shop. Thank God somehow I escaped. After coming back I checked many reviews this is a kind of trap where they spoil the dresses. And what is this brother sister business. Please show dress.take money. Finish.

We visited this shop recently in November 2025, just a few days ago. They have a good collection but everything is overpriced. Too much media hype about low price. Nothing of the sort. Same phulkari hand stitched suit which I purchased from Katra jaimal Singh the previous day for Rs 1400/- was Rs 1900/- So also, other suits and dupatta. All over priced 😞 We didn't buy anything

Would give 0 stars if possible. Very misleading pricing. Staff will sweet-talk you with “Didi ji, didi ji” and “main tuhada mann karna,” but prices are never told upfront. You only find out at the end—after you’re already committed. Items that sell for around ₹1500 in nearby shops were quoted to me at double the price, followed by claims that it was a “special discount.” This shop relies on flattery, not honesty. Walk a little further and compare prices—you’ll find many better, cheaper shops that tell you the price straight instead of saying “kehnde aa best rate aa.” Compare once and you’ll understand.

am extremely disappointed with the shalwar kameez I recently purchased and stitched from this shop. The stitching is loose and uneven in several places, making the garment uncomfortable to wear. We visited Satgurus sukh myntra n that happened to be a one of the best stores we explored The salesman were smooth talking n showed us various items n without any hesitation We are more than happy to be their client Too much impressed by their stitching n that too in time they told You all rock Satgurus staff n especially their owner who is so humble n helpful

I would give ZERO stars if possible. BEWARE OF FRAUD! Prices are WAY HIGHER than other stores in the area. Extremely disappointed! They use PRESSURE tactics to make you buy and get it stitched from them. The fitting is the WORST I have ever seen. They RUINED such an expensive suit. Do not fall for the positive reviews on Google like I did. I am convinced most of them are fake. Please do not buy from them! The quality is also sub standard. I have worn many punjabi suits and they did not even put the lining properly which is so basic for my tailor. Worst experience ever!!

Lots of variety in Suits, Duppatte and Cloth Materials for all occasions and price ranges. On a light note, Staff is friendly, ordered tea which we never got and even had to come back for the change to be returned 😝 Most importantly Carry bags are not reliable at all, and could be be better esp. for people traveling. Overall good experience, will visit again.
