I got a Jodhpuri suit tailor-made by Suit Up Man, including the fabric, mainly based on their great reviews. From the start, I had requested a sharp, structured fit rather than a loose or breathable one. However, even after two trials, the suit felt quite loose and not as per my requirement (photo attached). Considering around 12k charged for just the suit, I expected better precision.
During the third trial, I had to sit with the master tailorji for four hours to explain my exact requirements. The fit improved and came closer to what I wanted, though not perfectly tailored (the sleeves still feel slightly wider than ideal). At that point, I didn’t have the patience for further alterations.
That said, judging by the reviews, most customers seem to have had a good experience, so perhaps mine was an exception. Hence, I’m giving 2 stars—the final result is acceptable, but the process and effort required did not match the professional expectations at this price point.
