Road to “bespoke”? More like a bumpy path paved with broken promises. Buyer beware.
This has been a masterclass in how not to listen to a customer. I came in with clear, simple requests. What I got instead felt like someone else’s vision forced onto my wardrobe.
Asked for a metal zipper, received plastic.
Requested no lining to keep the jacket lightweight, ended up with a fully lined piece that feels like wearing a winter coat in summer. Completely unwearable for any reasonable duration.
And the shirts? A recurring disappointment. Small but important details repeatedly ignored, leaving multiple pieces sitting untouched in my closet. At this point, they’re less clothing and more expensive reminders of what went wrong.
What’s most frustrating is the pattern, this isn’t a one-off mistake. It’s a consistent disregard for customer preferences in favor of the Piyush bhai’s own ideas.
After multiple attempts and mounting frustration, I’ve finally had to cut ties with Piyush bhai. Disappointing, because bespoke should feel personal, not like a negotiation you keep losing.
Proceed with caution.

Extremely poor experience. One of the worst places to get a suit or for that matter anything stitched. Initial interaction was good and seemed very sales & service oriented, which changed after making the payment, with calls going unanswered.
Had got 2 suits stitched (paid 12k each for stitching) with fusing and cuff-button (in 1st suit) and lining (in 2nd suit) coming off after one wear of both the suits. Clearly the fusing and lining and threads (overall materials) used were of substandard quality. I requested for paid correction of 1 of the suit, towards which he kept jacket for 3 weeks and did not correct still. Calls went unanswered.
Avoid this place even if it offers free stitching.

I have been getting suits and clothes stiched with KK since past 30 years and I have never been disappointed. My recent experience this week surprised me further when Piyush Bhai displayed his eye for detail on one of my Lenin printed shirt. Great job, wishing more success.

Got 3 outfits stitched from piyush uncle and without any doubt Piyush uncle and his team did an amazing job.
Right from kurta to dhoti, Jodhpuri to trouser and lastly the Indo-western set. the fitting was amazing just like the way I wanted and ofcourse uncle’s expertise helped me to choose my other accessories.

I'm based in Australia, originally from Mumbai, have been a regular customer of KK Tailors for at least 10 years now stitching 5-6 pairs every 2 years. The amount of business from my friends and families to whom I've referred to is on top of my personal orders.
Since last 5-6 years, however, the quality has been extremely POOR. The threads used for stitching is so poor that it doesn't even live a year or two. The buttons have fallen off even within a couple of washes.
It's such a shame to see an old small business with such a great Goodwill going down the drain. Extremely unhappy!!

Never buy from here this is not the original KK tailor the original one is in kalbadevi what made me realize that is I went to give my trousers for stitching he charged me 900 per trousers I couldn't digest this rate I came home and called him again on phone he told me 750 per trouser when I told him I came just now and you charged me 900 so he started making stories that in 750 we don't put rubber grip I then called in the kalbadevi branch the rate told by him was shocking it was 650 cheaper then the Kandivali branch original rates I shared the owner my incidence he told me that this store is separate only the name is there and this is what happens at this branch it's a regular process so he told come at kalbadevi branch. So please think before you go here the guy is a crook this may happen with you all also so avoid going to this branch. It will be hard to believe because I was regular customer if he can do such manipulation with a regular customer then I have to think what will he do with his new customer so my suggestion think before you give your order.
