Highly disappointing experience at Mr. Sripati's tailoring shop, marked by exorbitant prices, rude staff behavior—especially from his daughters—and unethical upcharging tactics.
The staff's attitude was unprofessional and dismissive from the start. They treated customers with arrogance, making the entire visit unpleasant.
Worse, they exploit customers with arbitrary extra charges under flimsy excuses:
Satin cloth: Rs. 200 extra
Slippery fabric : Rs. 300 extra
extra Buttons on a shirt: Rs. 400 extra
Dori (cord) on a blouse: Rs. 500 extra
Their pricing is completely unpredictable—like dynamic flight tickets, or as we say, "kuch bhi."
They charge whatever they please. For a simple kurti, they'll twist and turn the bill to Rs. 1,000. Yet, for anything stylish or slightly complicated, they outright refuse the job.This is not customer service—it's a scam. I strongly advise avoiding this tailor to save your money and dignity.

They are absolutely the best. Behavior. Skill. Creativity. Timely delivery. Customer service. I live in the US so each time I'm in Kolkata with my huge stash of blouse pieces this is my Go To. They have repurposed my sarees into exquisite designer outfits for my daughter. I cannot my wardrobe without the creations of this amazing boutique. Even my mom who lives close by will often get her blouses , kurtas, and housecoats made there. I love how they cater to every style and need, no matter how different.
