I went after reading reviews here, hoping for sincerity in tailoring.
Manju seemed more interested in her foreign tourists, than understanding design of my dress. My dress is completely ruined as it is cut wrong, with a widest neck,
When I was at the shop, I had to keep on insisting on her taking my measurements, listening to the design. And she did not understand properly hence I had to get a change done. Now after that, my dress is completely unwearable as she cut the fabric wrong.
My fabric snd hence dress is spoiled completely. Unless you’re a foreign tourist, pls avoid the shop.

Manju is absolutely amazing! We had several blouses beautifully tailored and customized, and they fit perfectly. They’re not only stunning but also wonderful souvenirs to take home. Manju truly took the time to understand and fulfill all our wishes, and she was incredibly kind and patient. Definitely take a look at her shop if you need some tailored clothing - we highly recommend her!

Manju's reputation is well-deserved!
An incredible copyist, fast and super professional. She copied a fairly technical three-layer jacket—silk, linen, and cotton—into two copies. The only downside was that I didn't have enough fabric for the second one and bought the missing linen from Manju. After washing, this linen turned out to be 100% acrylic... disappointing.

Absolutely wonderful experience - I went in looking for something to beat the scorching heat, I went away with a beautiful Indian style outfit and a custom made top. The service was fantastic, I felt very welcome and the woman who owns the shop was very helpful and accommodating. The top (which is pictured, along with red trousers made in the shop also) is beautiful, fits perfectly and was made by the afternoon and at an extremely reasonable price - I love it! If I had more space in my suitcase I would have taken more. I look forward to coming back here in the future!

An excellent tailoring experience! We were in Cochin for three nights. Our homestay recommended this tailors. I had brought some outfits that I wanted replicating in different colours and fabrics. There were 9 pieces in total including a pair of tailored linen trousers for my husband. Manju managed to get them all ready before we left in 24 hours, despite one of her team being ill that day. We were very impressed, love the outfits. We also really enjoyed chatting to Manju and her husband late at night waiting for the final adjustments. Highly recommend for a pleasant experience, quality product and very reasonable price. Thank you

I brought a blouse which had bad seams and didn't fit perfectly and within 5 minutes both problems were fixed.
They then also made a copy of that blouse that I absolutely love.

Ms. Manju is a great tailor. We needed some last-minute fixes, and she handled them quickly and without any fuss. Even with a few extra changes, she got it all done in just 30 minutes. Definitely recommend her if you're in Fort Kochi!

Manju went above and beyond to make my dreams of crossed backed aprons come true. My partner and I showed her a few photos online, and she immediately understood what I was after, taking my measurements to create a custom pattern so that they would fit me perfectly. She has 25 years of experience, and it shows in how meticulously, creatively, and lovingly she crafted my 5 aprons. Three were double sided (reversible), and she went to such care to ensure that the thread matched the fabric, which is a tedious and difficult task for an apron. I literally squealed when I saw them/tried them on, they're even better than the ones I saw online.
Manju's shop was suggested to us by the owner of our homestay, and I now see why, the work of her & her team is so beautiful, well made, and precise.

We went to Manju to get a zip repaired and decided to have some shirts made whilst we were in Kochi. We were only here for a couple of days but Manju had everything ready for us. Great service, good price and lovely clothes made to our specification.

Brilliant tailors. We visited by chance and had two shirts made for my husband and a dress for me. She made a kaftan dress and made the style different to suit me with no trouble. All in a few hours. It is run by a lady, who for years worked at a tailor in the tourist area but opened her shop two years ago. So you'd be also supporting a small family business by shopping here!
