I had a great experience at Aachal Designer Wear in Banjara Hills. We were looking for a lehenga for my fiancé and after visiting multiple stores in the area, this is where she finally found something she genuinely loved—and comfortably within our budget.
While I was initially planning to look for my outfit elsewhere, the team showed me their menswear section, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. We ended up finding well-coordinated outfits for both of us under the same roof, and they were considerate enough to offer us a good deal.
Lehenga fitting took a bit of effort—the first trial had a few issues—but to their credit, everything was sorted properly in the next fitting and the final result was excellent. I also picked up shoes there, which made things even easier.
Overall, getting the lehenga, kurta, and shoes all sorted in one place saved us a lot of time and effort. Would definitely recommend this store if you’re shopping in Banjara Hills.

Honestly a great boutique with many beautiful options and large variety of lenghas. The staff are helpful with finding the outfit you’re looking for too.
However just an FYI, please be vigilant and aware when purchasing from this boutique. From my recent experience in Feb 2026, the boutique had double charged for a lengha we purchased. This means we paid more than the actual cost of the lengha. I was lucky my Amex was able to issue back the credit even though I was told by Amex that the boutique refused too (this was the result from the open inquiry investigation). But all in all this should have not happened in the first place.

We were assisted by Aanchal herself in our shopping and all found unique pieces that we fell in love with. Staff was super polite and can speak english, hindi and telugu. They made us feel more than comfortable. Prices can be steep, but much more reasonable than any brands we have seen so far. Highly recommended!

When I first tried on my outfit, I honestly wasn’t sure about it, just didn’t feel quite right. But Ms Aanchal herself and her team were incredibly kind and patient.
She took the time to really listen to what I was looking for and offered thoughtful suggestions that perfectly matched my style and needs.
They made adjustments until everything looked and felt perfect.

Before visiting this place, I had never met an owner of a shop or any business mind people whose focus and first priority is to make good relationships with their customers & truly understand their needs. Luckily when I visited this place, the owner was there and we talked for sometime & I observed that her entire goal is not to sell her products and make money out of it but to build a good relationship with her customers. I observed that she believes that if she builds a good relation with her customers by understanding their needs & selling good quality dresses, her business will be sustainable and money/profit will be a byproduct. I have never ever seen this type of mindset in businessmen or business women.
Now, coming to the point of discussing about her designs and dresses. Her designs are so beautiful and one of a kind. Seemed like the dresses at this shop are designed meticulously. The choices of colours in a dress is so thoughtful, like I felt that she has an excellent understanding of the colour combination in one costume like which colour will go well with which other colour.
Before visiting this shop, I read the Google reviews that they are pushy and will try to manipulate customers to buy the dress and all but I personally didn’t feel so. I rarely provide good reviews of a place because most of the places I find as useless or see a money minded environment but I found this place as worth visiting.

The collection was good and I saw a nice variety also. I selected a gown and placed the order on 2nd October. Due to alteration and certain additions they had said we could get the gown by 3rd evening. On 3rd the fitting was ready but the extra satin which we wanted wasn't done. They said they would courier it. The gown would be put in a gown cover and then placed in a cardboard box and then sent. We specifically asked about the box and they emphasized about the same.
I received the order on 10th October in chennai. To my dismay the gown was just folded and put in 2 of their store covers and then couriered... The gown was crushed when I received it.
Next I try it on and its ok. I remove it and have a closer look. I find most of the stones on the bodice to be missing.There had been talk at the store of polishing the gown, removing extra threads and basically making the gown ready- however nothing had been done.
I called the store and mailed them . They mailed me back saying they were upset that I was not satisfied and wanted to make it right. They picked up my gown from chennai. They made all the changes that I requested and sent it back to me. This time in a gown cover in a carton neatly!
Yes this did take time and added to the last minute stress of a bride. But I really do appreciate that they went all out to make sure I am satisfied.
I am overall happy with the dress and all's well that ends well!!!

Love this place for weddings shopping. It's costly but it's totally worth it. The collection here is totally fresh and new. You will definitely end up liking something in here. They have variety of colours and ranges of clothes. Also the workers here are amazing. They will convince you that you absolutely need to buy the garment but when you try the clothes then you will understand why it's costly and why it's so worth it.
In the end I came back buying more than I initially intended to buy.

Very good service by the team. Initially we liked a lehenga set but the color somewhere not going with the groom outfit. Here the team did a splendid job in getting the lehengas from the warehouse and we have finalized the lehenga for our bride. It was a beautiful piece. This is the second time we are visiting aanchal and the service and the designs are great here .

Although, variety of offerings they had were good;
Staff & the manager were bad mannered and were least concerned about customer shopping experience.
They try to push you till the last minute to get something in a not so professional way..
The sales staff tries to sneak in to the personal conversation we were having just to understand if we are liking their offerings or not and are if we are not in a dilemma to make a selection
You guys need to give personal space to the customers and not get involved into a conversation you are not suppose to.
Also, Stop being so pushy!!
If you continue to serve your customers this way then management will be left with it’s manager and its sales team..

I did my shopping at Aanchal Designer wear studio for a wedding shopping. Found the dresses and saris elegant and they had unique designs. I ended up shopping for 3 different days functions all in 1 hour! I must say Yogita 's professionalism, her sense of design and guidance was commendable. She helped me choose outfits as per my taste and personality and ensured I got the stitching and alterations done in record time despite time constraints as I had to catch a flight. Pathetic behaviour from the salesperson who tagged along with us. He was all fine until we were loving the pieces, but became so rude, arrogant and careless once we started reconsidering our choices. The staff has barely any manners, and must learn to accept the customer’s decisions and priorities. Pls teach them some patience. I regret being respectful to him until the very end.

Absolutely horrible experience. I ordered a lehenga for my brothers wedding. First, they delayed the delivery by over a month. I had to come 3-4 times to the store and they kept saying it's still not ready. Second, when I finally got the delivery they made a completely different blouse from what I asked. On asking them to fix it, they did some patch work by joining material from another blouse. Very bad customer service. Will never buy from here again.
