Recently stiched a db suit for my farewell and I would say one of the finest tailors in Guwahati. They were very professional and approachable. The suit complemented by physique perfectly. Price was reasonable too. If you want the 'Suit' for compliments then Khan tailoring it is. Really appreciate Sir Anwar Khan for his professionalism and grateful for their service. Overall 10/10

I visited this shop on 10 December 2025 in the morning to place an order for a coat set. Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. The tailor and the staff spoke to me in a very disrespectful manner, as if I was asking for the coat set for free. Their attitude and behaviour were totally unprofessional. I asked if they could prepare the coat set within 5 days, but the staff casually replied that it would take more than 10 days, without any interest in helping or understanding my requirement. My visit was only to check how quickly they could deliver because I am planning to place an order for more than 20 coat sets. However, their behaviour and lack of customer service made me rethink my decision. If this is how they treat customers before even placing a bulk order, I can’t imagine how their service would be after. Overall, a very bad experience and definitely not recommended.

This is worst. It has been a week I placed order for 2 trousers at Bhetapara shop. Today (20/02/2026) was the delivery date. But they could not deliver. They did not even start working. They said that they would inform once it is ready. That does not sound professional. This means they would do it in hurry and work will be sub standard. If it happens this way what is the point of carrying legacy of so many years. I don't have time to go and enquire every now and then to check if it is ready. I even paid advance. This is very disappointing.

The behaviour of the people operating the shop is okay(they should be more professional). But the main issue I found out in this shop was the tailoring itself. The tailoring isn't upto standards. It's okay for the price but you will find way better tailoring than this for the price elsewhere. The main reason is that the main tailors who started this shop or the ones who were from a very long time don't stitch your suits. They have machinery for making suits and less experienced tailors for doing the job. Honestly speaking I'm okay with the suit they tailored for me but the it is not upto standard. I will not recommend someone else for tailoring their suits here but you can go there for buying the clothing material which they have in abundance.

The kind of brand value they have and the kind of service they deliver has a vast difference. Firstly the employees are mannerless, then when it comes to stitching, they ruined my wedding suit, the suit was ill measured, became too tight, the pant was made too loose, i also made a formal shirt, while making the shirt they put some yellow marking, it was so strain ridden that the yellow marking put while making the shirt did not go even after manual washing and dry cleaning, they make sub standard suis and lack professionalism. Really very sorry that i choose them.

I regret to say that my experience with Khan Tailoring for suit stitching was a complete disaster. The final product looked nothing like what I had envisioned. The stitching was haphazard, with threads sticking out everywhere, and the seams were uneven, giving the suit a lopsided appearance. Furthermore, the fit was completely off, despite providing accurate measurements. To top it off, the customer service was appalling, with rude and dismissive staff who showed no interest in rectifying the situation. Avoid Khan Tailoring at all costs if you value quality and professionalism. Total waste of money🙂

Not satisfied with the work. Fitting is loose. Fabric was given non-ironable and of cheap quality though I have told them that I need it for special occasion. And there were stains also in the cloth. Service is very bad, staff member do not want to suggest or talk much for the sell. Wasted my money. Not recommended at all.

Worst experience ever i ordered a suit here & the result was reckless took too much time, It didn't fitted the way it should have. The price is also way too much. Behaviour with customer is negative. This is my first suit & that's what i got thinking it would be great. Worst experience no one should face it. Don't waste your time & money here.

My experience with Khan tailoring is fabulous. Recently I had an official meeting for which I needed a beautiful 3 piece suit. I tried suits from different brands like blackberry, Louis Phillipe, etc but I didn't got a perfect suit with a perfect fitting. Then one of my friend suggested me to go for Khan Tailoring. So, I visited the Khan Tailoring of R.P road, Dispur, Ganeshguri. I got a beautiful 3 piece suit and a single blazer sown from Khan tailoring. They charge reasonably. Overall I am impressed with the cloth quality and the tailors. The employees are well mannered.

Called in the dedicated number provided in their info for stiching a kurta. They said it could be done in my stipulated time. When reached there, the staffs said that it won't be possible as the tailor is not available. Wasted my time. So would only request them to keep a reapondible person to handle clients calls, someone who knows the staffs details who could meet the customer's orders.

Stitched a suit in this place for my husband who was about to go abroad for a training in September some years back.Suit was not stitched according to the style he asked for in the first place.Still he took it with him cause he would need it there.just a few occasions of use there, the lining of the suit gave way in all the places.upon returning my husband took it back to them .they simply repaired the lining superficially and gave it back,rather than apologising for their mistake and redo it with a new lining.another winter passed and the suit entirely gave way.Seams in the coat and pant opened up.I took it back to them again for repairing.but they refused to own it up as their responsibility and told me mockingly that I have to bear the expenses of its repair since it was stitched 2 years back.i told them no suit gives way in just 2 years of occasional use if properly stitched.hence its their responsibilty.Anyway i refused to spend any more bucks in their tailoring,The suit still lies with me unused.This place must have had a glorious (?)history but totally lacks in professionalism and accountability in this era.Besides there is nothing special in their craftsmanship as i feel any lesser known suit maker can stitch better and cheaper than them.They have no respect for individual style barely cares for customers response.they will stitch according to their will at your cost and remain unapologetic for their mistake.Writing this review after all these years cause I feel I must make unsuspecting customers aware of this kind of cheap place with arrogant ill mannered owners/employees.Using their service is simply throwing your money in drain.

May be it had been a good place for tailoring in past. But now a days it is not good. Cons: 1. Staff or may be owner who sits on the counter is non cooperative and bit arrogant 2. They don't stick there cloths themselves they simply take measurements and give some other tailors for stitching. 3. Price is highest in Guwahati, may be due to previous good works or due to prime location. Hope it will be helpful.

Really bad experience. First time cloth was not good when complained they are exchanged it(for this i m thankful to owner.he is very good) but the second suit was unfit when asked staff to they are behaving like i am taking it free of cost not ready fit when the fitting is not matching from previous one...Very unprofessional staff

First of all these bunch of jokers do not pick up phone when u call. They cannot deliver on time and keep changing the delivery date. And then they mess up your suit as they will not give a chance for trial. Extremely rude, impolite people. Overconfident and treats you in such a bad way as if they are giving away suit for free and doing you a favor. There are lot better places in Guwahati where you can get you suiting done.

I wanted to purchase a 3-piece suit and a blazer for my brother. Instead of trying readymade suits and blazers, Me and my brother went directly to Khan Tailoring located in Ganeshguri. A very well mannered, young and energetic tailor, whose name is Samsher Ahmed welcomed us warmly to the store and took the necessary tailoring measurements of my brother and within a very short span of time, S. Ahmed sewed a very beautiful and well fitting 3 piece suit and as well as a blazer for my brother. This man, S.ahmed works efficiently and his work is very perfect. So, even in the future, I will always choose Khan Tailoring, because I am very satisfied with their work and price rates.
