I am currently learning tailoring in Sumathi krish institute and the experience so far has been very exciting and informative. As a beginner, I was nervous at first, but ma’am is very supportive and explains each step clearly. We started with basic stitching and machine handling. Now we are slowly moving into measurements, fabric cutting, and simple designs.
Every class teaches me something new things like how to make neat seams, finish edges properly, and understand different types of fabrics. I'm especially enjoying the hands-on practice because it builds my confidence.
Though I’m still in the learning phase, I already feel a big improvement. I look forward to learning more advanced techniques like blouse and frock stitching in the coming weeks.

Joined the course without even knowing how to operate a sewing machine. I’ve been attending the classes for around a couple of months now, and I can see a chudi on my own. Our teacher is very patient and doesn’t hesitate to clear our doubts. She doesn’t mind teaching the same thing over again multiple times if we want. The class timings are also very flexible and can be completed at our own convenience. The classes are personalized and are taught at our own pace.
