Recently I took shirt and pant material in Thoraipakkam store and given it for stitching. They didn't give me trial.
When I picked up delivery, it was around 8 pm and didn't check.
One day after delivery, I went to the place for corrections as the shirt was very tight and could not lift my hand up. Similarly the pant was also very tight and unable to sit.
They asked me to wear and show them. The person who took measurements was not there and another person was there and he was very rude and not ready to listen anything. Whenever I start something, he wanted immediately tell something and tried to stop me from further conversation.
Finally, He started telling you have given wrong measurements. We don't know what you instructed the tailor. Come next day and meet the tailor.
I told, this is first and last and will never come to any of your shops and left the place.

A friend of mine highly recommended this tailor shop. The first time I got my pant stitched, it was ok, not great. The stitching was uneven in the back.
The second time I went there to get another pant stitched, I asked them to change the hip loop closure. But they did not do that. When I asked them to make the alteration to loop closure, the older guy was adamant that they stitched the loop closure like I had asked and it cannot be changed. And he shows me his measurement book with my order details to prove his point. I know for a fact I told them to change the loop closure. If they didn't write it down it's not my fault. Finally he agreed to do it after charging me an alteration fee. So I had to pay them to fix their mistake. Oh well.
Third time, went there two weeks ago to get another pant stitched and picked it up last week. This time they had messed up the stitching on the side, pic attached.
Jesus Christ. They keep screwing up one thing or the other. I think 3 times is enough. Never be going back there again.

I had given many shirt and pant to stitch at Pallikaranai. In recent they getting worse for the following reasons
(1) Delivery time line not at all maintained take much time and keep on postponed the delivery
(2) They have taken all the stitching orders and charges also high comparatively but tailoring quality is bad no control with tailors. Each tailors stitching on their own style.
(3) Tailors are rude and never mind about customers voice.

Experience is not to good.
It's a conservative shop. I ordered 2 pants, 2 shirts and a waist coat. For the pants - they didn't listened to what I said about stitches. Even didn't put buttons to the back pockets. Seems they prepared it sub-vending with road side tailors because the style how pant was stitched was of 1947.
I had invested a total of INR 8.5 K, still this sort of service is not acceptable.
Nevertheless - humble request to all Chennaites and people living in Chennai -"DO NOT GO TO THIS SHOP" - they will cheat you...over inflated textiles to high labour cost in cash will make a hole in your pocket.

I asked for a ankle fit pant for my college suite here l.. the pant was not fit as i asked and im really disappointed in their product. The stitching here did not meet my expectations… I recommend to buy ur suits in branded than giving here to stitch. Very bad .. the pant looked like a school pant

Excellent Customer Service. 45 years of Tailoring experience speaks very well when I stitched a Suit and the fit was perfect at first trial. There was no need for any further modifications. I did not have normal time for stitching a Suit and wanted faster and the support by Mr. Aarif Mohamed and Team is very much appreciated.

Basically I expect to measure the legs everytime I give a pant for stitching. They take measurement the first time. The they hesitate to measure everytime saying they can take the measurement details from mobile number.
I don't know how it will fit exactly for a measurement taken one year back.
I have to insist them to take measurement again.

They are solid in terms of service and quality in stitch and fit.
They have a recent branch in Pallikaranai but the clothes come to their main branch in T. Nagar opp the Siva Vishnu Temple for cutting and stitching.
They have regular and premium finish options, and the latter gives a readymade look to your garments for a nominal extra charge.
My best wishes to them in all their endeavours!

IT WAS IT WAS THE ABSOLUTE WORST. They messed up the fabrics and the fit sooooo badly. Trouser fit came out as leggings fit! Could not even enter my legs into it nor could I walk.
The behavior of the pattern maker and tailor is absolutely disrespectful.
Wasted money, time and precious silk fabrics in this place that I can never get back.
They do not accept their mistakes also, absolutely horrendous experience.
Will 100% NOT RECOMMEND this place to anyone!!!!!!!
