I joined Lakshmi Tailoring Institute and Fashion Designing Institute for a 5 months course. The Institute matched each and every aspect of what I had in my check list.( Location, machines, space...)
Lakshmi Mam is a very warm, friendly person with good experience. She teaches systematically with great patience. The material given for the course, which includes calculation and pattern sketch, is very precise and easy to understand.

I chose this institute mainly because it is close to my home and also provides a safe and secure environment, which gave me the confidence to join without any hesitation. I enrolled in a seven-month course where I learned tailoring from the basics—covering kidswear,night wear, ladies salwar, blouse designs, kurti and many other varieties. Mam guides each topic step by step with clear notes, pattern making, cutting, and stitching, which makes the process very clear. Since mam has many years of experience, she teaches in such a simple and effective way that even beginners can easily understand. Aari work is also taught in the institute, which adds extra value. I would definitely recommend this tailoring institute both to anyone starting their career and also to those who already have knowledge but want to get professionally trained.

I am really very thankful to Mrs. Lakshmi Mahehwari who drives this institute very successfully. She has 25+ years of experience in textiles. She is sincere and dedicated towareds teaching and motivates students to learn with very clear knowledge. I learnt tailoring from basic and completed 7 months course here. All designs with variations are taught along with pattern making and stitching. Also the additional values like lace attachment, piping, binding and patch works for chududhar and blouses are taught in feasible technical way. Aari work is also taught by Mrs. Lakshmi's daughter Miss. Sanjana and she is also very creative, patient and motivative towards teaching. All stitching materials are available in istitute itself, this is really helpful for the students to move on to the next classes easily without roaming around for matrials every time. I highly recommand this institute who loves to learn fashion designing and tailoring. This institute is located only in Porur / Chennai and there is no other branches in any other places. All the best for upcoming students to travel in designing and tailoring journey successfully.

Lakshmi tailoring and fashion designing institute is the best place where a normal person turns into a professional because here they teaches us the way and the method of stitching with great patience . Even the repeated doubts also handled with kind and care. When I visited the institute for the first time I asked her" Mam I know tailoring for a basic level but I need a training to be a professional she said don't worry you will get what you want. Then after I went for a regular classes I realised that a beginner can also be a professional here because she concentrate and corrects even a small mistakes too.
