Very disappointing experience.
Today I visited this shop with the intention of purchasing matching blouse material. However, the staff refused to show any fabric unless we committed to buying first. As customers, we have every right to check the quality, texture and colour of material before choosing to purchase. This is a basic part of fair business practice.
When we insisted on at least seeing the fabric, we were asked to leave the shop. This kind of behaviour is extremely unprofessional and goes against the principles of good customer service. Under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, such conduct falls under unfair trade practice because customers must be allowed to make an informed choice.
I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves staff behaviour. Customers expect respect and transparency, not rudeness. I am sharing this so others are aware before visiting.

We were surprised to read this review, as it totally contradicts the events occurred.
However, we are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
We have been serving our customers from the past 4 decades across 3 generations. We always provide the best of the service and quality to our customers which is very much evident from our other customer reviews.
We always support customer's right to inspect the goods. With respect to your case, our staff had shown you all our products not once but on two different ocassions. First, via WhatsApp Video Call through your husband's mobile. On the second occasion(different date), you had personally visited our store where you were present in our store for nearly 20 mins. During this time, you were given full access to inspect the quality, texture and colours of our fabrics across multiple sections right from the basement up to the Second floor.(4 floors).
Our trade is such that without a Saree/fabric in hand it is impossible to match/select the fabric of your liking/choice. We would be able to assist you in a better manner when you bring your saree for selection of the fabric.
We believe in transparency-both in our fabrics and in our reviews.

Worst experience ever , cashier such a pathetic behaviour.... as a customer view point it's obvious that we ask for discounts on final price he could have told politely that no discounts are available instead he said so annoying ly as though every thing is free of cost on top of that other person who was sitting next to him other staff as well laughed at customers seriously is it a crime to ask for discount worst shop ever......

Worst service ever at Seshsha Matchings, Malleshwaram.
I went with my mother-in-law. We are regular customers and have bought many matching blouse pieces from this shop earlier. This time, we went to the basement to buy a silk cotton blouse piece and were made to stand and wait for 20 minutes with no staff bothering to attend us.
Very clearly, if you look rich, you get attention. Otherwise, you are simply ignored. This kind of biased and disrespectful behaviour is unacceptable.
Completely disappointed.
Won’t recommend this place if they continue treating customers this way.

We always visit for the fabrics and lining cloth as their quality is really good 5/5, but these days, the service is too bad. Despite having the lining material with them, they are hesitant and will never show you. They ask you to come at some specific time only on weekdays during working hours and when you postpone all your other works just to visit them at the said time, they deny showing the material on your face have the audacity to lie on face saying the lining cloths are unavailable after coming to the store, worst experience and this happened multiple times. When we speak on calls to check if they are open, they are very rude and asked to visit a different store and hungup abruptly today, while we are literally in the street where the store is located. I would like to give a 0 star rating if possible for the quality of their service.

To provide some clarity on our process, we are primarily a fabric shop catering to customers buying primary/main fabrics for their needs. We offer lining cloth(secondary fabric) as an added convenience to customers buying primary fabrics from our store itself.Due to our business policy/model and limited staff during peak times, we have a specific policy of handling requests for only lining materials on weekday mornings.
Our records, including call logs, indicate that your most recent inquiry was on a weekend lunch hour.
Weekends and lunch hours are our busiest periods for fabric sales, and our staff is instructed to prioritize customers making larger fabric purchases during these times. This is why we strictly avoid selling only lining fabrics during those hours and may have asked you to return on a weekday.
We understand there was miscommunication regarding this policy leading to multiple visits. It was not our intention to lie or be unhelpful, but rather a miscommunication in communicating our store's policy effectively.
We value your business and would like to ensure this doesn't happen again. We hope you will consider visiting us on a weekday morning for your future secondary fabric needs, where we can assist you properly.

Visited the shop for a ready blouse. They have a very good collection and at affordable prices. Ms Shobha took personal care in matching the saree to a blouse with nice work. She also suggested a tailor for alteration and took me to them. Everything was done in less than an hour and hassle free.

The young boy at the billing counter was extremely rude, and showed a lot of attitude, as if he is giving away things for free. In this age, when there is so much competition, they cannot afford to alienate customers like this. He could have answered politely, but he chose not to. I would not recommend this place. I had a bad experience. They sold me old stock blouse material... Which got faded after 2 washes and bubbles every where.... I had spent for material and stitching which got wasted ...just after 2 washes ... I would give (-) 5 stars

They have different collections. I wanted to buy one velvet blouse piece. For velvet blouse piece, they asked me to buy .35m extra because it would go waste for them. So to avoid there loss they wanted me to pay 100 rupees extra. They were not even ready to give me 1.25m. Very disappointed.

Excellent shop. The comment is based on wide range and variety offered. The ready-mades are even better. Instant repair facility and the willingness to serve customers is amazing. They will collaborate with the neighbouring shops to get you what you are looking for. Located in the middle of Malleshwaram market, brisk business is what you will experience all through. Pricing is moderate to expensive but all under one roof.

They have huge collection and it's always crowded. So plan your visit. I felt it's an expensive place comparatively. The same blouse material I got in Mysore silk udyog for almost 350 rs cheaper/ mt!!

Best place to buy fabric for blouse or kurta or anything. They have cotton, silk, cotton-silk blend and synthetic material. You can buy the material of your choice. They have plain, brocade and khun fabric.
The owner is a very friendly man who will patiently help you to select the fabrics. Please try to visit during morning hours as thr shop will be less crowded.
